Amusement Parks

Send me a word/topic and I’ll write a headcannon about my muse that relates to it!

Turkesa doesn’t actually know what Amusement Parks are (They weren’t around when he was little… In fact a lot of stuff he likes and is curious about didn’t exist when he was little..). So if asked about it, Turkesa would spend his next few days learning as much as he can before going.

And once he goes, that is it Turk is never coming back. His dads are probably never going to see him unless they go because he’ll be spending every moment on the rides. He’d especially love the swings, the free falls, and any ride with a loop-de-loop.

Turkesa absolutely adores music. He loves listening to it, replicating any tunes he hears with any instrument he can find (even if he doesn’t know how to play it).

He especially likes to sing, though he’ll get fairly sheepish if someones watching depending on the mood of the moment.

Sorry to bother but I'm a little confused. I thought Turk had Otto as his 'Dad' but from your little RP (and other posts) he also thinks Gibson is his 'Dad' too?

Nah you’re no bother, you’ve actually got a fair question.

With Gibson it was pretty one-sided at first; but over time the blue monkey began to treat Turk like a son (or as best as someone like Gibson could anyway)

As for Otto, it kind of just happened, Turk originally saw him as an uncle, but Otto then just kinda grew into a more father-like figure over time.

So yeah, Turk does see both Gibson, and Otto as his “dads”.

So how old is Turk anyways?

Turkesa himself isn’t exactly sure (cause of the unknown amount of time he spent in deep sleep thanks to whoever gave him his powers). But as far as others are concerned, he’s in his mid to late 20’s (around 25 years old, maybe a little older)

💭 Let's jump into the shark tank, shall we? Turk offers to play duets with Flicker all of the time.

Yes, this IS in fact, something Turk does; asking Flicker to play a song with him(and teach him to play the piano).

But since it was stated that being asked to do a duet makes Flick all kinds of shy/nervous/awkward, Turk would notice this and ask for a duet less often.

18: how they sleep

Turk sleeps very silently, doesn’t move around much and tends to unconsciously hug whater’s nearby, this includes his own blanket (as he bunches up a little of it in his hands just to hold).

Now when it comes to dreams and such? That’s kind of a different story.

1 - Their Voice.

Well, aside from the voice lines I’ve done for him, I actually imagine Turkesa to sound kinda like John Travolta, especially like the voice Travolta did for the Disney character, Bolt.

4 - Their Insecurities.

Turkesa isn’t unsure about a lot of things (aside from the complex feelings he carries for a certain golden monkey), but there are times where he’s scared he might not be accepting the Hyperforce as his new family, but rather just using them as a substitute for his old one.

25 - Why You Enjoy Them.

Playing as Turkesa always comes with a bit of cautiousness (funnily enough); he is a whole lot more attentive to small details, and a lot more careful in what he says/does than he lets on, so it’s a lot of fun to pay close attention to other’s dialogue and described body language to figure out what specific actions Turk could take, or things he could say. Not to mention I really enjoy how connected Turk likes to be with everyone, even people he just met; I find it to be endearing.
