Hey Megatron, have you ever considered adopting Starscream or have you already done so before?

MEGATRON: Why would I adopt Starscream? I have enough stress in my life and I do not need another reason for him to kill me.

STARSCREAM: EXCUSE ME I'M OLDER THAN HIM!!!!

SOUNDWAVE: Starscream does not act older than Megatron.

SOUNDWAVE: Soundwave only pointing out facts.

*Materializes, and is staring up at Soundwave.*

[Soundwave was working at its terminal. It ignored Frenzy for about the first...five attempts to get its attention. Eventually, though, it slowly turned around.]

Ok Soundwave, why Megatron or Hot Rod?

SOUNDWAVE: Soundwave chose Megatron and Hot Rod because Megatron and Hot Rod make Soundwave feel seen and heard. Soundwave hasn't felt seen or heard in a long time.

Soundwave misses Megatron. Soundwave also misses Hot Rod despite only a brief time together.

Soundwave is confused.

Soundwave requests for second opinions.

This one is for either Soundwave or Kilotronyx or anyone who knew Megatronus Prime on a personal level. What was he like? Was he funny did he like to drink with friends?

SOUNDWAVE: Megatronus Prime was a pillar of strength and idol to Soundwave. Soundwave admired Megatronus Prime. Soundwave wishes that Megatronus' spark still shone.

KILOTRONYX: Do you want the propaganda answer? If so, he was undefeatable and no spark in the history nor the future could ever match his might in battle! Completely ludicrous!

The reality is that Megatronus was actually very quiet, almost shy around people he didn't know and would withdraw unless you knew him well enough or you were speaking with him about something he was passionate about. Absolutely socially awkward around people he didn't know. It was both endearing and funny.

Hello Ms Kilotronyx! What was Soundwave like as a child? Was he quiet, loud, troublesome?

KILOTRON: He was all of those things but in his own special way. He was afraid of unfamiliar people and he grew very attached to people he considered 'safe'.

He was mostly quiet, even with myself and Megatronus and kept to himself. Despite that, he did try to fit in while in education but unfortunately he never seemed to be able to click with anyone. He was endlessly curious and threw himself into his studies.

He was cold towards his younger brother, Scion, at first, I think he was anxious that I would abandon him, no matter how many times I tried to explain to him that I wouldn't... well, maybe he was right in the end.

I think pairing him with Starscream made him really come out of his frame though. Starscream is everything that Soundwave is, just loud and proud about it! Starscream gave Soundwave confidence to be himself and I think that is beautiful. I only hope that Starscream is still out there protecting his best friend.
