Hey hey for this months theme are we allowed to write an ot3? I have a really cute idea for some Stiles/Derek/Boyd but if we can only write sterek that's cool too I can totally write something else or both xo

Sorry, no. I know that about a third of the members here multiship, but ultimately this is a Sterek network and if I’m going to rec/promote anything I need Sterek to be at least the main/endgame ship.

OK, so my prompt is about the shovel talk that's so popular in fics, but I've not seen anyone follow up on it. I'd love to see Stiles keep his shovel talk promises to someone who messed w/Derek, or w/Lydia (and Derek gets jealous), or w/the pack, in the most evil ways. Like changing all their passwords, stealing all their remotes, cancelling their take-out orders. I feel that Stiles can be super vindictive and vengeful when it comes to his family/pack. And Derek loves it about him.

Hi! I was just wondering something about the group assignment: does the fic have to revolve around the theme or would a fic where for example one of them is a deputy (but it's not the main focus of the story) work?

Hey there,

This is kind of a case of using your best judgment. The theme doesn’t have to be the whole point of the story, but I do think it should have some presence or influence on the plot. Ex: if it’s just mentioned in one line that the character’s a cop and it never comes up again, that wouldn’t really count. If it’s a story about a pack barbecue and Derek’s kind of fixated on how hot Stiles is in his uniform, then that would.

I guess there should be some focus on the theme, and it should influence the story in some way, but it doesn’t have to be the whole point or the main plot of it.

Hi Rachel, I have an idea for a fairy tail Sterek fic, that I've been sitting on for a while, but it's probably a longer fic.. and I'm not sure I would finish in in September. My question is, would it be acceptable to submit a WIP and keep working on it past September?

That’s a great question! I hadn’t considered this, to be honest, but I know that the time limit can be a challenge, and I’d honestly love it if the theme inspired longer fics as well.

WIPs can absolutely be added to the collections.
