Are the monsters coherent enough to recognise someone as their leader, for example Asgore or Toriel?

Are monsters capable of eating each other? Do they not turn to dust? Why are they so hostile towards each other if they don't eat each other?

How many humans have fallen to the underground? Are their souls harvested as in the original Undertale or is it more like HorrorTale? I'd think that if they don't collect human souls at least out of some primal instinct they would at least consume it on the spot? Are the human souls simply lost just like that? Is there a way to escape the underground? Is there even actually a barrier?

Yes! Even the mindless ones know who their master is. "Everyone's" just in denial.

Uhhhhh I haven't decided if I wanted normal Monsters to have insides so I could have that sweet sweet gore, or keep it as dust when they die and they bleed less the more normal they are.

But anyway, even if they don't have flesh, yeah. Monsters could (but no Monster is a cannibal by default -_-) eat dust lmao it just tastes nasty

(imagine if they can get madcow disease from it like how humans get it when they eat raw brains!? :OOO)

It's hard for monsters to comprehend or positive emotions like safety.

Fun fact:

Despite the impression the introduction of the AU gave, Monsters aren't insane by default. The underground still has laws and the royal guard! Even they're... "A little" unreliable when you actually need them.

Nahhh Monsters aren't rabid creatures by default too! And again, the only human Monster kind knows is down here is Frisk.

And... MonsterKind has no drive to gather souls. (I'll say why two questions down)

Sausage (Papyrus) in this AU is actually aware of how bad his food tastes (and looks...)! He just acts like he doesn't (and fails miserably most of the time because he legit just confessed it's a monstrosity LMAOO) and gets people to try it because he loves fucking with people and seeing their face as they try to mask their disgust and despair to please him. :3

Btw you can't see it but in the pot imagine an ugly concoction of eyeballs that somehow follow you, some weird animal guts (at least I hope it is???...), other ungodly things he found scavenging around, and pasta.
