2, 6, and 15 for the bridge?
2. Pick one sight, smell, sound, feel, and taste to describe the aesthetic of your novel.
Oh dang. Um, okay, so the one sight would probably be… anything to do with the ocean? There’s an image I’ve seen on some moodboards that has a neon sign with “Something Strange Happened Here” over water, and that to me kind of speaks to the look of the show.
Smell: The overwhelming aroma of a saltwater filled ocean. Also, chocolate from a chocolate fountain.
Sound: Either waves moving around or seagulls squawking (of course, the squawking might turn into a growl later on, but it’s probably just the wind).
Feel: Hmm. Probably either the smooth, coldness of metal or the harshness of sandpaper.
Taste: Caramel Corn (Aqualand’s finest!), or… chocolate from a chocolate fountain lol
6. Are there any former titles you’ve considered but discarded?
Funnily enough, I don’t think so? I think it’s always just been “The Bridge” - it was concise and a little mysterious. I had a small moment of crisis when I realized that the name was so simple that it’s already been used by lots of other shows, but Rebecca and Jen (who voices Bollard and writes for the show, in addition to writing excellent YA Fantasy!) quickly talked me out of it!
