♢☆Pierrot Headcanons☆♢

Warnings: Slight spice, no nsfw, fluff

☆Love language would be a mix of physical touch, quality time and gift giving.

☆He would be very touchy with you, whether you’re together or not. He’s just happy to have someone to hug and hold hands with. Because back at the circus…they don’t do all that.

☆If you’re not big on physical affection, he’d try his HARDEST not to get too touchy. You can blame him, he loves you. He’d get all giddy, excited and sometimes nervous when you DO touch him back. No one’s really touched him gently or with kindness before.

☆For quality time, it could be anything. But mainly it’s just trailing behind you like your shadow. Silently. Or sitting there and listening to you talk or rant. Just nodding along with a stupid grin on his face/mask.

☆Gift giving, obviously he’d give you roses and flowers and such. But he’d also bake for you. Give him your favorite sweet treat, and he’ll make it in 10 minutes. Probably 5 minutes.

☆He’d purr. You can’t change my mind. His purr would be quiet because he doesn’t talk often. BUT. BUT. When you two are alone, or he’s really happy his purrs are loud and deep.

☆I’d like to think his horns are very sensitive, especially around the base of them. So if you manage to convince him to take his hat off, he’d be nervous to let you touch them. But will MELT and whimper when you do touch them.

☆VERY protective of you. You’re the only person that shows him true kindness and love, so he’s protective. Harlequins around? He’s taking you and leaving. If he can’t do that? He’s glaring daggers at Harlequin, tense, ready to make a move if Harlequin gets to be too much.

☆He enjoys the size difference between you two. He’s a monster, he’s bound to be taller than you. So it always makes him feel good about himself knowing he’s bigger than you, can protect you.

☆Bouncing off that, I feel like he’d like to pick you up and carry you around. Especially when the circus is closed, he likes to carry you around. Worried Harlequin or Jester might take you to their tent or kick you out. He also just likes having you close and safe.

☆Has routine check ins on whether you’re eating and drinking. Will get really worried when you don’t eat or drink for a while and will cooking something for you. When you don’t eat it, or politely decline. He’ll be really worried and drag you to Doctor. Worried you’re broken.

☆On his break days, which he rarely has, or days where the Circus members just all need a break. He likes to hang around your work and watch. Or come on your balcony till you let him in, just wanting to be around you.

☆He has scars. All on his body. Mainly his back, from the abuse and whips from the previous circus he was at. They give him bad memories, flashbacks. So…He likes when you trace them. Calms him down. On some occasions he falls asleep on you.

☆On top of that, he doesn’t really get a lot of sleep at the circus. Harlequin with the fools, Jester with his demands and commands. So Pierrot WILL fall asleep on you. Whether it be stand up leaning against him. Or fully on top of you.

Obsessed with small fae reader omg

The way the scenario has been set up I can’t help but picture small fae reader as being similar to a beta fish in a plastic cup at petco being taken home and given a proper tank so they start thriving after and I love that for them

That's.... oh my God, that's exactly what I wrote lmao. Team 141 isn't even in it for luck. They are just like fae reader.

"Can I come outside today?" John looks down at your jar with a small smile. "I want to see everyone. I always hear them coming in and out. Where are they?" You insist, watching as John carefully lifts the lid of your cage open.

"Well, there's four of us. Five if you include Nikolai." Price explains as you fly out of the jar, easily making it into his hand. "You want to meet them all?"

"Yes! They are your family, yes?" John nods slightly at the words, watching your wings flutter. They had a bit more color to them now, but they still had a long way to go. You flutter up to his shoulder, settling down comfortably as he stands to walk around the base.

Simon wasn't exactly happy to see you out and about. He knew that you were still too weak to be exposed, but he didn't scold you. He scolded Price instead.

"Didn't bother reading anything I sent you, huh? They are vulnerable. We should be keeping them safe." You pout slightly when he speaks, looking at Price nervously.

"But I wanted to come out!" You huff as you try to fly over to Simon. You get halfway across the empty space before your wings fail, and Simon catches you catches you his palm.

"And that's exactly why you shouldn't be out." He softens his voice immediately as he lifts you, digging through his vest pocket. "Here. Dried apple." You're wings flutter happily as you munch away, lounging in his palm as Price and Simon begin to argue again.

"Ye shouldn't be holding that thing." You hear a thick scottish voice, peering over Simon's thumb to see Johnny. "Wee thing is dangerous."

"I have a name, ya know!" You huff, abandoning your piece of dried apple.

"Yea, wee devil, probably." His slightly sharp tone took you aback, wings drooping down slightly. "We shouldn't be making deals with the fea. We don't know what it wants."

"I have a name!" You shout, teats burning your eyes as you sink into Simon's palm. "I would like to go back to my house." You declare as you try to hold back your sobs.

Johnny looks a bit surprised at your tears, especially when Price and Simon shot him a glare. "Kyle." Price barks quietly over his shoulder. "Take our little fae to their home. Johnny, talk to us about what's going on." Kyle carefully takes you from Simon's palm, offering you his shirt pocket.

"Johnny doesn't know about all fae. He'll take some time to come around." Kyle whispers assuringly as you hide in the safe dark space.

"But I'm not a wee devil..." You sniffle quietly. "I want to go home."

"I'll take you right away, little one."

I've seen a lot of people talk about the idea of Simon viewing Grace as an angel and borderline worshipping him, but very few talk about his discomfort about that, and how he's just as bad.

Like, Grace is Just A Guy who is being raised to the status of divinity very suddenly by a man who's so abused and mangled that he's not sure Simon is really there anymore, mentally.

Simon is praying to him. Praying at him. Begging him for salvation he cannot give.

He's just a man. Just a pitifully human man. He can't open the gates of Heaven and allow Simon to rest in holy gardens. He can't absolve him of his sins.

Grace is being a put on pedestal. Equated to something holy and beautiful, and he definitely does not want that. It's hard enough to live up to his human potential, but this? This is impossible.

If anyone deserves that title, Grace thinks, it's surely Rocky. He's the one who sings in heavenly tunes. Who created a version of Eden just for the two abandoned humans (well, that part was Adrian and the other Eridians, but if Rocky is an angel, then so are they).

Anyway, tldr, Grace is a hypocrite cause he doesnt want to be made an angel by Simon but does the exact same thing to Rocky

The circus was oddly quiet, No screaming, no explosions, no crying or dimension hopping catastrophes.

Just, Silence.

You began by wandering down the flickering hallway leading to caines office, the sound of your footsteps echoing against the walls.

you didn’t even need to check in to feel the heavy atmosphere pulling you down. It was like a storm had blown through, bringing everyone to a low level.

You reached the door leading into Caine’s office, you knocked and were met with more silence.

So you opened the door and peeked inside.

The room was way dimmer than usual, creating a soft shadow cast among the entire room.

And there sprawled on a black leather couch- Your ringmaster slumped against the comfortable black fabric.

His hat was crooked, and he faced the wall of the couch. It was odd seeing him so… low.

“Caine?” You called out, stepping into the room and shutting the door behind you.

Caine hummed, an almost digital sound vibrating from his chest. He turned his head towards you, jaws spreading open so he could peer at you with mitchmached eyes.

“Oh— hello dear” he murmurs, voice tired and drained. “I’ll be right with you if you need anything” he says on default, jaws shutting- gloved hand coming to lay on his teeth.

You smiled softly and walked over, taking a seat on the couch.

“Nope, just Checking In on you.”

This seems to peak his Interest. Caines jaws open, revealing his eyes that peer at you with curiosity.

“Checking in on.. me?” He mimics, sitting up.

You nod, “yeah, it’s… quiet, in the circus today. I wanted to make sure you were okay.”

Caine stares at you for a few seconds.

“Huh”

He shakes his head, sitting up more properly now. One leg crossed over the other, gloved hands resting on his knee.

“I’m sorry my beautiful butterfly, I’ve been feeling kind of down today” he begins, a sigh coming heavily off his chest.

“Everyone’s just been relentless recently.. just earlier I was arguing with zooble over my adventures- I had to separate gangle and Jax because Jax had broken her mask again- and-“ he takes a deep breath, putting his head in his hands. “It just feels like nobody appreciates anything I’m doing anymore..”

You shuffle a little closer, a hand coming onto his back. You start rubbing gentle circles into the fabric, hoping that this would comfort Caine just a little.

Caine hums, leaning into the touch.

“That’s nice..” he sighs.

“You take care of everyone else,” you begin, your hand moving to rub between his shoulders. “Let someone take care of you for once” you say, leaning over and pressing a soft peck to one of his bottom teeth- the canine to be exact.

Caine looks over at you again, unsure of the affection but impossible to move away. He watches as you move down the couch, placing your legs on the couch as well. You open your arms with a smile, inviting Caine over.

He’s hesitant at first, but you see how the exhaustion takes away all consideration- and he lays on your chest.

You wrap your arms around him as he wraps his around your waist.

His frame settled against you perfectly, like he was meant to be there. And perhaps he felt like he was.

“Oh” he mumbled, head nudging into you. “This.. this is nice. Your squishy, in a uh, good way”

You chuckle, hugging him closer. “Squishy?”

He nods, hugging you tighter.

You decide not to question it much, and instead you focus on enjoying this moment with Caine. Where he didn’t have to put on a mask- instead he could just relax and regain with you.

“If I may ask,” Caine begins, although unmoving from his spot. “Why exactly did you feel compelled to.. check on me?” He asks, just craning his head up to stare at you behind those gigantic teeth.

You think for a second, looking down at the ringmaster in your arms. Why exactly did you? You hummed before replying.

“You’re always taking care of us, Albeit not always the most efficiently.. you never get any sort of care back. I just thought you’d enjoy it.. plus, I like your company.”

Caine nods, before looking along the office walls.

“Yes but that is because it is my job, Dear. You have no compelling reason to be doing anything for me.”

You shrug, “does it really matter?”

“I guess not..” he replied.

You held him as close as you could, although you noticed how Caine never seemed to emanate any sort of warmth from himself. He wasn’t cold either, but it was noticeable.

However, Caine definitely noticed how warm you were. He noticed everything. In all of his time occupying this digital realm, he had never gotten so close to a member. And yet he got close with you.

And so you lay there in the dim light of the office, the once boisterous ringmaster completely quiet- soft, and wrapped around you.

You both never wished for anything better than this.
