In Spanish we have two ways of saying "i love you". Te quiero, which is friendly, fraternal and platonic. And "te amo", which is more intense and almost always romantic. I'm curious to see how Castiel's confession was dubbed in Spanish. Does anybody have a link to watch the dubbed 15x18? By the way, the 12x12 I love you scene was dubbed as the plural "you"

Ah yes I remember lots of translations discussions over the years regarding Dean/Cas interaction! 12x12 would be the more recent one I guess. I’m sorry but I’m not sure where to find the episode outside the CW app! I always watch live on air and if I rewatch it’s through the app. ^_^;;

I’ve gotten an ask about the Jensen three month notice Destiel discourse and I just want to say I think people have totally misunderstood what was said. They’ve all been on board and acted towards this ending for over a year. Jensen just probably didn’t know exactly what the scene looked like until just recently. And I can almost guarantee that’s because it’s how he wanted it. He reads one script at a time and acts Dean in the moment without foreknowledge as to give a true emotional experience of someone who just has no clue what’s next for his character. He’s discussed this many times. Even though Destiel was definitely a thing he was told about well in advance, he didn’t really need or want to know every detail of the plot, he never has approached his work that way before. That’s all I really have to say about this particular subject. Also. Time to reblog my PR IS NOT SHOWRUNNING essay one final time I suppose. Hope this helps you anon.

I wasn’t angry, friend. I was insulted. I respectfully don’t like my intent here being misconstrued. If you knew me you’d know I warn ppl all the time about following every word I say. I do this constantly and have for years. And people that read me know me usually or they’ve met me, and they know above everything I care about the well being of fans, my friends. Always have. Always will. They are me and I’m them. It’s where my loyalty, my heart, lies. Hurting them would hurt me. There’s nothing I have to gain here no matter what anyone might accuse me of. In fact, I have far more to lose because of my job and how my feeling over Supernatural are tied with it.

People know me and know this about me but you don’t know me and people here know you don’t know me. So that is to say, thank you for this message friend and bests to you as well. We both mean well.

darius tweeted misha saying “hell of a run @/mishacollins.” i was holding on hope for cas coming back in the finale 😭

Personally, this means nothing to me. There is an obvious orchestrated PR effort to hide Misha’s involvement in the final two episodes imo. Some of it is subtle, some not so much. And silence around the weight of 15x18 from various members of TPTB tells me that Bury Your Gays isn’t the attention they wanted before telling the next part of their story. It’s like seeing a beacon from onshore during our ride in the dark. They can’t give away their story to address those criticisms. They’ve determined it’s best to just wait us out 2 weeks.

I don’t know if Darius knows the ending or not. Lots of people know it (I think, because originally they were in it but COVID hurt their intended big scene, I think publicly Singer recently told someone this in an article). And all the actors on the con circuit love fandom and thinking about how we’ll react to certain things. My bet is on him knowing, but also knowing Misha’s last challenging Cas acting scene is over, and he’s congratulating his friend on his character’s best scene.

And for prosperity: PR is not showrunning.

i've been crying since last night over SPN, and then a friend called me to calm me down, and she was like you remember when we were kids and we watch The x-files at my house and read commentary and Scully and Mulder even having sex wasn't considered canon back then, and THEN, 13 years later in the reboot of the show, there was still people and fans saying it wasn't canon even when they're a het-pair, and i just needed to share this because it's the only thing that's made me laugh today. xoxo.

Thank you for your story, anon. If you don’t want to see something, imo, you never will. Doesn’t mean it’s not the truth. I always pity those people and actively try to not focus on them as to get pulled into their gravity well of negativity. It takes something from you, I think. Sometimes slowly. Sometimes quickly.

Do you think the covid-19 stuff will impact the possibility of things like a destiel kiss? Is that still a possibility, or not any longer?

Kissing is allowed. My friend Natalie at Hypable asked Emily Swallow about this kind of thing recently in one of her articles and Emily talked about what the industry is currently allowing, so long as COVID tests are negative. I personally still think what I always have, that Dean’s response to Cas’ confession is to ask Cas to stay with him, that they’ll hold hands and that Dean will tell him “I love you” back. If a kiss comes after that? That’s just the greatest thing, the single greatest mlm slow burn tv romance depiction that television could ever achieve. I have no idea if they went for it. We’ll all find out together in 2 more episodes. ^_^
