just finished reading pull over and like i don’t even know how to explain this without sounding insane but you’re literally a genius 😭😭😭 all alt endings were soooo good and i love all 3. i can't choose one fav but i'll rate from 1 to 3 instead:

#3 — 1st 💗 bc i’m a complete sucker for happy endings. i just want jungkook and y/n to be happy and alive and breathing and maybe holding hands idk is that too much to ask??? 🥹

#1 — 2nd is actually satisfying. CHILLS really. that ending was so cinematic. true crime levels of unsettling

#2 — last place ONLY bc i don’t usually read mcds and this one hit too hard. like i was actually sad i couldn’t take it 😢

♡ i’m such a sucker for stockholm syndrome stories so it was 100% NECESSARY to have that ending in here (plus it was actually the original one lol).

♡ i also really wanted to include a “justice” type ending because like… isn’t that logically the best one?? even if it doesn’t exactly feel like it.

♡ and, i totally get your thoughts on main character deaths- they’re heavy, and not everyone enjoys sad endings. it’s one of those things that just hits different, and not always in a fun way 😅

♡ oh i cried writing it bc she was put through so much but that’s why i gave her a softer death (crazy words to put together) 😭

♡ but! she did have an ending that served her justice so you win some, you lose some 🥰

tell us honestly, which one is your fav ending and no! i dont want bs like "all 3 of them are my babies and i like them in different ways blah blah blah" be honest!!! even mums have a fav child they wont admit;P

♡ bc you’re so right!! i want to say SO BADLY that my heart loves all of them for different reasons and i’m proud of all 3… but if i’m being brutally honest??? ending B (surprisingly??) is my fav. it was actually the original alternate ending, and it ended up being the most emotional one to write for two reasons:

1. i love tragic/sad endings (red flag)

2. it felt the most final in a way. like the kind of ending that just sits heavy in your chest after you close the book

was pull over jk had something to his backstory as to why he was the way he is also it is so scary imagining a cop the ones who are supposed to protect doing that like what made him would be interesting who was his first victim author

Hi I saw your post about the whole rape situation and I admire how you handle that persons response first of all, secondly I love pull over, I too have survived abuse , and it messes you up in unimaginable ways , that lead you to all sorts of things and reading was one of the more positive ones , and in a way it may sound sick but pull over has helped??? , but all in all keep doing you !!

first of all thank you so much for this message. it seriously means the world to me. i’m really sorry you’ve had to go through abuse too, and i just want to say i hope you’re doing okay. i’m sending you love and softness and every good thing always 💜

also, ty for saying that about Pull Over. it’s wild how something so personal and painful can connect people in ways i never expected. and i totally get what you mean- it’s not sick at all, promise. trauma does weird things, and sometimes finding a story that sits in that ache with you helps. it makes you feel seen.

that said- i have so much grace for people who can’t read material like that. i would never judge someone for needing space or distance from that kind of content. everyone copes differently. everyone’s timeline and threshold is valid. i used to be that way too! it took me a long time to get to a place where i could write this stuff without falling apart. but writing/reading helped me unpack so much, in ways nothing else could.

that’s part of why i wrote Daddy Kookie too (totally different kind of trauma, but still rooted in something real). not everything will resonate with everyone, and that’s okay. that’s the whole point- we’re all trying to figure it out in our own way 🥹

like pull over jk is dark EVEN for a yandere fic.. but then we have like healthily horny local cop jk and that is genuinely the funniest thing considering the entire plot of pull over 😭
