How do you explain Elsa's powers? How did she get them and why?

Magic, powers and fantasy are not meant to be explained... AT ALL. 

Fantasy is supposed to be a escape from reality; through storytelling the narrative makes you believe anything is possible. You need eyes of wonder and to be able to trust the story to make it true. 

If you want a movie that explains 100% facts, there are plenty of stuff out there for you (especially now since people are demanding this). Disney is the last place where you are going to find an explanation for magic. 

Elsa was born with magic powers that make her be able to cast snow at her will. These powers are linked to her emotions. The end.

With all due respect, though, OUAT *is* done by Disney. Disney is ABC's parent company. That's why they're able to use Disney-specific characters and character names and why there's OUAT costumes on display in California Adventure and stuff.

Thank you for you output, I appreciate it and you’re sort of right! But at the same time not really... 

What I mean that it wasn’t done by Disney is that what happened in the series didn’t really affect the canon Disney characters. Anna married Kristoff in OUAT but it still isn’t canon within the movie universe. Hans joins a pirate crew in Storybrooke but really he is picking up horse poo in the Southern Isles. Writers in the TV show are not affiliated with the animated studios. Do you know what I mean?

While all the other stuff is controlled 100% by Disney so it does affect if they get a new outfit or what happens with their interactions.

Yay welcome back! One of my fav blogs on tumblr. I would love to hear your thoughts on the "Return to Arendelle" special if you get a chance to watch. :)

Thank you so much for that! It feels good that people actually missed this blog. I didn’t think people had missed it so much. 

I was only able to watch the last 10 minutes live because my live stream was not working, I gave up and then I tried again. 

However, it was nice since I always forget how much I love and appreciate the work put in this movie until I see this sort of things, but mostly all of the material was reused from the previous Making of Frozen. That was a little upsetting for me since it became repetitive…. The new information really was the Olaf development, the new short and the people who are working on it. 

Nevertheless, I am really excited about the future plans for Frozen and to see that they want to take other routes (since they are developing the second movie focusing on a somewhat different part of Norway) but still make this feel the same way. 

The Making of Frozen, A Return to Arendelle is available to watch on Hulu and the ABC site.

I know you're mainly Frozen but have you seen Disney Descendants yet? If you have what were your opinion on it? 😍

I actually haven’t.... I have been a bit busy with my first college weeks and some projects. 

I have listened to a lot of contrary opinions-- either people love it or hate it. I guess I’ll have to watch it to see.
