Sorry for the Hiatus, but I’m back in action!

Going to try to at least answer 1 ask a day, and I plan to switch up the style so expect more color!

Although we aren’t far enough in the timeline yet, I felt like uploading this to get it out of my drafts.

He Knows

He knows she doesn’t love him, he has seen how she looks at him. How her eyes light up at the mere mention of his name. How his smile makes her breath hitch. As if his mere existence gives her life. Yet none of it matters, because he is the one she gifts her affection, he is the on she dotes on, the one she touches. Those snarky smiles only he sees, even if those smiles never reach her eyes. As long as she shares her warmth with him, as long as he gets a brush of her beautiful flame. Then he can pretend, he can ignore who her eyes always follow. That she doesn’t… what they have is close enough. In the end he knows that his care for her is not returned, and that all of the affection he receives is meant for him. And he is not him. Even so that is okay because she is not with him, instead she stays by his side.
