Do you like bugs Uncle Proto? I love them but Daddy and Pitch don't. :(

Tut tut, your parents are very silly individuals! Bugs are incredible creatures, and yes, little Sera, I love them. I am especially partial to moths and bees, though I am a renowned ‘stinkbug whisperer’, so I suppose I love them as well. I love the way their little antennae go back and forth, sensing the air… “BEE-BEE-BEE?” they seem to say. Cute~

What are you gonna do for Valentines Day, Uncle Proto?

Ahh, well-! I think I’ll be making papier-mâché Valentines for you- oops, spoiler!- your papa and Pitch; for Piki, however, I have different plans…

I’m going to take him on a moonlit ‘cruise’: I will coerce lure persuade him into my car, then serenade him with the help of the AM radio as we roll through the city and its surrounding neighbourhoods. I will open the moon-roof, provided it isn’t snowing/sleeting, and provided he doesn’t feel obligated to flee through any given portal- out of sheer embarrassment, unable to comprehend and digest my affections! adults are so odd, little Sera, never grow up- and we will share hot cocoa (organic Mexican chili, free-trade) and spiced-wine (also organic, sulfite-free) in the backseat until he inevitably falls asleep in my arms, craddled in love…

Do you believe in Santa, Uncle Proto?

Ah, sweet little Sera… Not only do I believe in him, but I know him. We are  very good friends; in fact, during the year I help him with his, ah, toys. He makes me sit on his lap and ask for ‘presents’, just like any other little boy or girl. He is a great bear of a man, too, and very strict in discerning proper treatment for the naughty ones.He spares the rod, spoils the child, then uses the rod on the child once they grow up a bit, however, so be not afraid of Santa, alright sweet butterfly? :)
