oh, I do sometimes. Nightmare can get. . .pretty far in one night, it's surprising. I once woke up in a cabin on a cruise ship. I had no idea where I was in relation to my island until the memories of the previous night started to resurface. That's one reason I don't get lost often. I'm able to retrace his "steps" with the vague memories I retain. I sometimes wake up back in Alamos town, I know my way to and from the city quite well by now.

((Here is my first post-haitus answer! I apologize if Darkrai sounds a bit off but I'm kind of rusty with him. I had more practice with nightmare than with classic Darkrai during my haitus so I'm a little out of practice with normal mode. I'll get back into the grove soon tho! I feel kind of disappointed with myself about losing touch with him though. :'[ ))

Excellent question! We don't interact with each other so we don't really converse or anything substatial like that. I know him as well as I know myself. It's not even like he is a different person, more of an extension of myself unhindered by my inhibitions and morals. He is instinct incarnate, every action he takes is an attempt to further propagate nightmares. To be honest, I don't think he is quite used to interacting with people who will never suffer a nightmare. It makes him uncomfortable, and without me to filter his words he can be hurtful. Not that he cares about your feelings. It's the furthest from his mind. He takes pleasure in inflicting nightmares, but without him I wouldn't survive the way I am. I need dreams -I need nightmares- to live. As much as I what he does, he is a part of me and I accept him for what he is. I may dislike the attitude he presents himself with and the way he addresses loved ones and friends, but I need him.

He is me, I am him. He may be uptight and disapprove of the way I. . .do things, but he needs me. I am not going anywhere. We are the same person, I am just freer than he is. Also, I have more fun. Hahahaha. He's too reluctant to do his job, but then again thats what I'm here for! You should see the things he comes up with in his stubborn mind, but is too afraid to act. He's a better puppet master than I'll ever be. Don't let him know I told you though, he's ashamed. hahahaha.
