"Hayo, my precious husband~" Gohan chirped, before sliding up to be close to edge. There was a shiny red bow atop his head, a matching one on the box he was carrying. "My present to you this year is myself!" He grinned, before shaking his head. "Jus' kidding! This is the real present. Don't open it until the twenty fifth, though!" Gohan handed edge the box, before planting a firm kiss on his mouth. "Mm, love ya!"

“Dahlin’! I haven’ seen ya in a real lon’ time! I thought ya broke up with m’!”

Edge was quite glad to see the other boy, the bright hair accessory catching the taller’s attention instantly, before letting out a loud laugh at his husbands jokes. The boy could be so funny, well keeping things lighthearted. A box was pushed into his possession, interrupting his words with a kiss.

“Why woul I ‘ave t’ wait hun? Wha’s so importan’ ‘bout th’ two fif-”Short, passionate and direct. It was simply divine, and Edge couldn’t help but giggle as he grabbed the other boys face- gently of course, and started planting smooches all over.

Clothes: VIBRANT, ridiculous colors, no shoes. Bandages in random places, def wears one leg warmer and fingerless gloves. crop tops for days

His heart was beating a little faster at the thought his dad actually came back in that timeline. The Gohan in the alternate timeline was super lucky, he thought, that Goku actually returned. Kami knows he wants his dad to come back.

“Well... I kinda dragged his ass back to the living world and did a thing that made him alive again so.... I’m not sure f he was happy about that since he was pretty solid in his “me being dead is better” thing... I dunno... I fucked that up too, somehow...”

"Your Cell monologued too? Gross." He shook his head, trying to dispel the visualization of both one of his closest friends and his father bleeding out. It was definitely tough alright, but that didn't mean Lisa should blame herself. "You did what had to be done, right? Dad would rather you save the planet than save him. That's why he stayed dead in my timeline, anyways." He started to fidget with his hands, scratching at his skin. "Dad forgave you, I know he did. That's what matters, right?"

“Well... I didn’t get the chance to be around long enough to ask him, and as soon as I got back from my magic timeskip, Buu happened and then I was forced to leave, but I at least hope he did....” She sighed. “And it wasn’t the last time shit like that happened anyways so I should probably be kind of used to it by now honestly..” A fake laugh as she shook her head.

"So it wasn't you that killed my dad, it was Cell. Just like in my timeline. 'nd from what it seems, you've got less casualties on your hands than I do. Trunks and dad both died. Obviously your presence didn't make things worse, they actually made it better! 'M not saying you can't feel guilty about, just try thinking from a different perspective. It's really tough, I get it." He paused, a scowl painting his features. "Jeez, your boss is a jerk. Seven years.. That's a really long time."

“Considering that instead of insta-death, he bled out in front of everyone while Cell was monolouging and I was bleeding out and trying to close a rift, it was still really bad.”

The seven years she’d missed... coming back to find the one she’d called little brother older and taller than she had been... it’d been a kick in the face, not even mentioning Goten existing... She missed the days she called the son family her own and the worse they had to worry about was bad guys like Cell and Buu.. simpler times in retrospect.

“It was awful.. I missed out on a lot, even after I’d promised I’d be there...” Her face became downcast as she wrapped her arms around herself. “I still feel awful about it... if I hadn’t opened my big mouth to the dragon, maybe I would’ve gotten to stay... be the sister to him I said I’d be...”

"If I've learned anything from my timeline, it's that even though it might seem like it's all your fault, it's definitely not. Heck, I still have trouble coming to terms with the fact that I didn't directly kill dad, even though it feels like I did. But ya know, he'd never ever blame you for what happened. “No it literally would not have happened if I hadn’t been there. I threw Cell into the fu-er, into the void and he blew up, nearly killed me then, and when the dust settled, Cell popped back up and shot a hole in your dad’s chest and took a chunk outta my side at the same time. I almost died, you’re dad bled out because I couldn’t get over to him while trying to close the void up, and ruined everything. As soon as we got him back, Shenron got word from my Boss and sent me into the freaking future seven years later and I completely shut down cause of it...” She shook her head and ran her hands through her hair. “I ruin everything I get involved with and make everything worse.”

"Wait, you were? Gosh, that's kind of embarrassing. Did the outcome stay the same? As my timeline, I mean. Dad dies, but other than that, everything is kinda normal?" He paused, scratching his chin. "Well, I guess it's not normal, but you know what I mean."

“Well... I had some effect and he didn’t get blown up but... It was worse than that... and it was my fault...” she looked down sadly then looked back up at him, attempting a smile. “We got him back in that world though. But...” She shook her head and sighed. “That got a lot worse than the way it was supposed to be. I’m sorry.”
