“I mentioned earlier you need to cover your eyes around contaminated areas, didn’t I? You must be new - but I’ll explain for your own safety.

About two...no, three years - has it been so long? - an infectious disease  broke out, effecting your eyes. It leads to total blindness, and blood filled eyes. It’s like crying red....The infection has many ways of spreading, but the bacteria can also spread through the air, if your eyes are not always covered.

Usually, simply wearing glasses will help you, like in my case. But only if youre in a low risk environment, which I normally am... Otherwse, you require goggles.... Some of our team, including Entol and Eris, were infected while saving civilians during the initial outbreak....They cannot see, and need to cover their eyes with heavy, thick clothe in order to prevent infection of others on the team, as well. Goggles and glasses at this point will only irritate their eyes further, but clothes keep the bleeding down and also prevent contamination of others...

So....to put my answer plainly - yes, some are visually impaired because of their bravery and putting others before themselves.”
