⚰️- what my muse will say at your muse’s funeral (Rezon)
Anna steeled herself. She hadn’t expected to loose him so soon but, she knew that it would’ve been inevitable in the end. Why it had to be him, though, was a question she couldn’t help but ask over and over again. It would be sometime before she was really able to be over him, but for now, she steeled herself to read.
“Rezon was a good man,” she began. “A husband, father, father figure to many- everyone who met Rezon always came away from the encounter a little bit brighter. He had a past that he worked hard to move away from, one that he wanted to right with his actions in the recent past. I believe he made great leaps in character in the time he came to that realization to the time I was lucky enough to have met him, and even more so in the time we spent together. I do believe that because of his actions, he has helped change the world for the better.”
“We are all lesser without him. The whole world is. But his death will not be in vain, nor will the changes he helped put into place. While it will be difficult to fight without him, and impossible to find someone so wise, kind, and caring to replace him, we must all continue forward and continue this fight. We all had our own separate reasons to fight- family, friends, peace, safety. But now we all have a single, universal cause to fight: To honor the man who we all came to know and respect as a leader and a friend.”
