what would the ros reaction to the mc getting heavily drunk and declaring their love for them, like say I love you, I'm gonna marry you were gonna have a hundred kids together?

(assumed deep romance)

A: Carries you to your room and tucks you in, firmly reiterating that you are inebriated and in need of rest in order to function at your full potential. They stay next to you, however, holding you as you fall asleep, gazing fondly at your face. Just as you drift off, you think you hear them whisper, “I love you too. I want whatever future has you in it.”

F: Grins and attempts to spin you around the room excitedly but stops once they sense you getting dizzy. Leans in to touch their forehead to yours, saying how much they love you and want a future like that with you too.

M: Rolls their eyes and pulls you into their embrace. They cup your face, stroking your cheeks gently and look into your eyes - not to read you but to confirm the sincerity of your words. And then they kiss you - deeply and with purpose, so the rest of the room completely fades away for both of you.

N: Gently takes your hand in theirs and leads you to your bedroom, where aspirin and a glass of water are already on the nightstand. Murmurs the entire way there and as they’re tucking you in, how much they love you too and can’t wait for your future together.

So Adam...if I were to tell you I was in the main room and had put some slow music on right now, would you come dance with me? It's been a long day and, at the risk of sounding cheesy, there's nothing that would make me happier than to be in your arms.

“I...” Adam begins, a faint blush coloring his cheeks as he rubs the back of his neck.

There is no one else around for once. The warehouse is quiet - N is at the facility, F is on patrol, and M is on the roof.

His gaze softens finally and the tension seems to be leave his shoulders as he approaches where you are standing in the middle of the room.

The soft music surrounds you both, and it almost feels as though your heartbeats are syncing to it.

He extends a hand out toward you, the other tucked behind his back.

“It would be my pleasure.”

How would UB react to MC immediately peppering their face bcs the MC has achieved something/done something important? Deep romance please

F: Pepper kisses the MC right back, tries to outdo them

N: Enjoys seeing the MC so ecstatic and welcomes those kisses with joy

M: Chases the MC’s mouth around so they can give them a proper kiss. Starts out teasing at first then just cups the MC’s face to hold them in place to give them a deep kiss

A: Quietly accepts the kisses but quickly moves the MC somewhere private so they can tell them how proud they are of them and have a private moment between the two of them

Hello Unit bravo! Pretty angsty question here guys so put your seatbelts on, but how would you feel if your detective had been taken from you? I imagine quite the worry, but you guys tend to express your emotions so differently so im curious as to how you’d think you’d react

(assumed crushing for some/early relationship stage for others)

A: Their hands clench into fists immediately, whatever they were holding in their hands completely crushed by the movement - but they don’t notice as pieces fall to the floor around them. No, they’re only aware of the quickening of their heartbeat, almost panicked at the thought of the detective being taken. They remind themselves their reaction comes from a place of concern for the detective’s safety, because they are a valued team member and... friend. Nothing more.

But they storm out anyway to check that the detective is safe before doing a full, sweeping patrol of the town.

F: Their eyes waver, as though they’re picturing the scenario unfolding and holding back tears. “It hurt so much the last time,” they whisper to themselves and you suddenly feel as though you are intruding.

“It can’t,” they look up at you, eyes filled with unshed tears, pleading with you as though you have the power to prevent this from ever happening. “It can’t happen again.”

M: Their arms stay crossed, although you notice a slight rippling of their shirt fabric around their biceps, as though they’re trying hard not to let their own muscles tense. They glare at you, as though they can’t believe you have the audacity to ask such a question.

“I let it happen once. It won’t happen again, not on my watch.”

You want to ask how they can be so sure but the look on their face tells you this conversation is over.

N: Glances away, as though to compose themself, but you can see their hands trembling. “I am aware that there is a possibility for that to happen, given the world we live in, but even thinking about it has me--” they get choked up and clear their throat.

Their voice drops to a whisper, “the thought alone is terrifying. They mean so much to me.”

What’s your take on marriage?? 👀

N: I quite like the idea of intertwining two lives in such a way, in front of closest and dearest friends and family to witness the commitment. But I am just as happy expressing such a deep commitment in other ways.

F: *looks away to compose themself before turning back with a bright smile* It would be everything. It doesn’t have to be marriage, but to promise to choose one another forever? I can only hope you want that someday as much as I do.

M: *gives you a long, contemplative look, grey eyes swirling with confusion before shrugging* Don’t think we need it. Don’t think it changes anything. You’re it for me, sweetheart/handsome, so it’s up to you.

A: A slip of paper binding us to a human institution does not appeal to me. *their gaze softens* I am already wholly yours forever.

So...who in Unit Bravo would be the best parent or babysitter? I'm curious.

F rocks back and forth on their heels, an ecstatic expression taking over their face.

“Oh, this is such a great question. Well, obviously it’s not going to be M - they wouldn’t know what to do with a child much less know how to deal with screaming, crying, all that stuff,” F says, a thoughtful look taking over their face. “N would be great with kids, but I could see them getting very protective, especially as the child got older and wanted to do more things on their own.”

F glances around the living room - the only other person in the room is A, who looks as though they are pointedly trying to appear as though they are not listening.

“Personally, I think I would be the most fun parent or babysitter, but I know a parent has to be able to enforce rules sometimes and blah blah blah...” they trail off and look back at A again, who briefly makes eye contact before glancing back down at the reports in front of them.

“In all honesty though... A would probably be the best parent - they got the rules thing down and they put up with me and M. I think the rest will come once they loosen up...a lot.”

F notices a small smile appear on A’s face and waltzes out of the room to leave them alone.

This is for all of Unit Bravo: What would you guys do if the mirror incident at the carnival was reversed the detective was the one who was paralyzed by Falk? Would you ask about whatever images you saw in the mirrors?

(assumed book 2 stage of relationships)

A tenses briefly at the thought of the detective being paralyzed by something painful from their past, recalling how they felt in that moment. A’s fists clench and unclench twice before they respond.

“My top priority would have been to get the detective out safely, by whatever means necessary. It is not my place to inquire about the detective’s personal life or past if they do not want me to know. But I hope whatever it was that hurt them stays in the past.”

F shudders as they recall their own experience. “I would never want the detective to go through that and would probably do my best to get them to snap out of it, even if I had to pick them up and run out of there.”

M gives you a sideways glance. “My job is to keep the detective out of trouble using whatever means I think are necessary. I also have zero interest in asking about what the detective saw. It’s none of my business.”

N takes a deep breath before turning to you with a small smile. Their eyes are filled with concern, and you get the sense they are trying to temper it. “I hope nothing of the sort ever happens to someone like the detective. It was... terrifying for me and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”

They lean back against the cushions, eyes fixed on a spot in the distance. “I wouldn’t pry if the detective didn’t want to talk about it, but I would hope they know that they can trust me and that I am always willing to listen.”

He holds your hand in his large one, the warmth emanating from his palm wrapping around yours as a small smile curves upward on his face.
