Hello! And! Welcome! I made this out of desperate need and spite, because fandom is fandom, and male characters get so much more attention than female/enbies. So, here I’ll take requests for headcanons, short stories (can be ships, oc x canon, xreader, etc. go nuts) and just general chatting about our lovely underrated dateables!
Just to clarify, here’s the list of non-female characters I will consider for this blog:
-Ben-hwa (They/Them);
-Bobby Pinn (They/Them);
-Daemon (They/It/He/Any);
-Lux (They/them);
-Mac (They/Them);
-Nightmare* (She/They/It);
-Rebel (They/Them).
*Nightmare is technically considered to be a girl in-game so she’d be here anyway, but come on. If that’s not THE most agender creature I’ve ever seen, I don’t know what is
Some important rules
1- Don’t send requests or asks about any of the non-female characters that didn’t appear on the list.
Q: B-But then where will I get content of my blorbos :[[[
A: Literally anywhere else in the fandom.
2- Mentions of these ‘banned’ characters are fine, so long as you’re not diverting attention to them (Ex: You want to send an ask talking about Harper, so you mention her relationship with Dirk and inevitably talk a little about him. That is Fine).
Q: What’s the criteria for ‘diverting attention’?
A: If you’re wondering if your submission is too imbalanced towards the male character, that’s probably a sign to rework it.
3- Regarding the writing requests, I’m mostly okay with writing anything (#opisproship), but if you send something I don’t feel comfortable writing for/Don’t know how to write for, I will simply tell you so. I hope this doesn’t happen often, as it’d be a shame, but sometimes these things happen.
Q: Will you answer asks publicly just to say you won’t write for it?
A: If the ask was anonymous, yes. If not, I’ll try to dm the blog who sent me it and delete the ask, but if I can’t message, I’ll have to answer publicly. I find it less rude than to simply ignore it.
4- Oh yeah, regarding what I just commented on, yes. I am proship/profic. Yes, antis can interact as long as everyone stays civil. No, I will not entertain anyone who tries to start fights. And yes, you can always just block me and move on with your life instead of starting fights or harassment. It’s that easy.
Q: Do you support—
A: No. No. No. No. I’m anti censorship. That’s it. That is literally it. I will tag things appropriately if you’re uncomfortable with certain topics NO that does not mean I think pedophilia is okay irl????
5- I might write nsfw, but don’t count on it. If I do, expect it to take a while, as I’ll be busy second-guessing myself.
Q: Should I still send nsfw requests?
A: Yeah, of course! Just know that there’s a chance I may not be able to write for it, so please no hard feelings.
6- Have fun!! Fandom needs more safe spaces, and I’m determined to make one here. Feel free to be free.
Lastly, tagging system
-All characters (With no last name) will be tagged as ‘#[character] date everything’ instead of the other way around. For some reason
-Writing requests will be tagged as #write.everything
-Asks will be tagged as #ask.everything
-posts/reblogs not necessarily affiliated with the game (off topic) will be tagged as #non DE!
-I don’t really know ship names* in this fandom, so… Ships will likely be ‘character x character’ only.
*I do know some people get creative and make fun names, but these are typically not agreed on by the whole fandom, so tagging as that is mostly useless.
