Wayne wheels Minnie over first. She’s asleep again by the time lies her down in the Medical lab’s beds. He then fetches Missy and finally Kara. Be the time he has them all laid down he’s exhausted. His back is aching from moving Missy, Minnie and Kara and his leg feels worse than ever.

Wayne looks through the cupboard and practically throws a handful of energy tablets down his throat before getting to work on patching up Missy and Minnie.

Wayne winces behind his goggles as he sets of to fetch the trolley. Each time he puts his foot down, pain shoots up the side of his leg. However, he makes an effort to walk without a limp, at least until he is out of sight of 90’s Gurl.

Unless he feels he needs/has time for medical attention he always tries to hide any pain he’s in. Wayne developed the habit of hiding pain when he was still fighting Vyce. He knows probably stupid thing to do it but habits are hard to break. Besides, he can’t afford to let pain get in the way while Chick is still around so he forces himself to ignore it.

Back during the rebellion, if he ever showed he was in pain people used to worry about him when there were more important things to worry about. So he’d started just ignoring pain or at least pretending he didn’t feel any.

Wayne reaches the first of the three Med Labs in the building and quickly grabs a trolley. He wheels it back to the bedroom, where 90’s Gurl is keeping guard, just as Minnie begins to wake up.

Wayne glances out of the window, as everyone is getting ready, and then does a double take.
