Upon seeing Ian, Ann immediately took the defensive. "Taking his face now, too?  I know your games, so leave me alone..."

"Ian?!" her mouth fell open in shock. Without any warning, a fist came rushing towards his face, smashing against his cheek with a loud smack! "You son of a bitch!" there was a hint of laughter in her voice, a quirk of a smile on her lips.

Plus I wanna be able to not become a giant fluffball around Melek, either. Raev teased me about it when Melek gave me a hug. I swear I could deck that guildmage, but if I did that Chandra would toast my butt and the Firemind would probably make me a crunchy snack," Poison said, rolled her eyes and folded her arms."True on all accounts. Okay, just focus on making sparks, for now," he said as the shapeshifter stood back.

She focused on red mana and looked at the center of her hand, concentrating on at least making sparks like he instructed. The thought of one of her old adversaries came into her head and she thought about frying him for some of the antics he had pulled. Her anger about that caused a lightning ball to be summoned. She looked at it in amazement. “Whoa, I did it!”"I’ll say so," Ian said happily.

The Aetherling helped her focus mana to summon lightning easier for the rest of the afternoon.
