hello! I am absolutely mesmerized by your work, especially the phoenix painting from May- would you be willing to talk more about your process for that one? did you use masking fluid at all, or was it just layer upon layer? those long white tail feather stems are incredible. the piece makes me think of those wonderful negative space swirls that Alphonse Mucha liked to do

Thank you so much! I did use masking fluid for the long feathers shafts. It would have been doable without because I was using a tiny brush and working small part by small part anyway, but I don't like suffering that much.

It might not be super visible since the masking fluid is grey, but I also have a long threaded post here where you can see all the wip pics

Hiiii when you were posting about your calendars a few months ago, I think you said something about trying to find a printer so that USAmericans could have a chance to buy them. Were you ever able to find one? No worries if not (I will simply continue to watch and hopefully buy one in a future year whenever they are available to meeee)

Yes!! I did I just have to set up the thing, I'll try to do that over the weekend. I'll make a post when it's done :3

nope

not really, I do have a few very short ones for like applying masking fluid but not the whole process. I do post wip pics often though
