i remember my mom getting us a rock tumbler and being so excited to hear it make that awful grinding noise but the rocks were so smooth. It broke eventually I think.

((I remember I had a rock tumbler too when I was really little. Even when my parents put it in the garage, you could still hear the grinding. I’m not sure what happened to it- it probably broke, or more likely, my mom probably got sick of the noise and just told us it broke.))

The hesitant click of claws against the tiles followed the sound of the opening doors. The noise paused as the creature listened to the child, a pained yet disdainful huff the only reply.

A distinctly metallic scent permeated the air as the clearly injured Pokemon came closer and rasped out a hiss that almost sounded like a plea for help. Its fur was soaked with blood in places and the serpentine face winced into a snarl as the large Pokemon leaned over the desk.

Upon receiving no response, Issac blinked, raising his head in confusion. Emergencies were quite common in the Pokemon Center, and it wasn't unusual for a trainer to rush in making a fuss over an injured Pokemon. The silence wasn't something he was used to in the slightest, however.

The reason behind it became rather obvious once he actually saw who had entered.

"Aaah, aaah, jeez, um." Being the son of a nurse meant that Issac was accustomed to blood at that point, though he had little experience with taking care of injured Pokemon on his own. "Just, just... Just gimme a second, uhhh..." Scattering papers this way and that, the boy turned around and dashed out of the room, rushing back in moments later with his arms piled high with towels and bandages. "Just don't move," a pause, followed by him squinting at the unfamiliar Pokemon in question, "just... Don't move."

"Kid Again" (*shyly raises hand* only if you wanna tho)

The doors to the Pokemon Center slid open with a click, and as quiet as the sound was, the boy manning the desk had heard it thousands of times- more than enough to recognize it without looking up from his drawing.

"If you’re lookin’ for Momma, she’s not here right now." He said, squinting at the paper and reaching for a new crayon. He spoke with a slight lisp, presumably the result of several missing baby teeth. "I’m ‘posed to be manning the front ‘till she gets back, but I’m not allowed to touch the machines. N’less it’s an emergency you’re gonna haveta wait."

(I just imagined Helm going through a fast food drive through and having to squish down to reach the window and either it's a perfectly normal occurrence or everyone's terrified. I don't know which is funnier)

((What if it's a mix of both like

all the customers are completely terrified and people are screaming

but the staff and there manager are all just like 'it's okay, just give him his Big Mac and a large fry. It's all good'))

Smirking, he couldn't help but fold his arms at the being before him. Both looked odd, smelled odd..almost like a fellow digimon, but they weren't made from data.

One of them certainly held dark power, like himself.
