There are a lot of people at the ministry with cats. Most keep a close eye on their own and keep track of where they're allowed to roam and where they aren't. Some are more liberal. It's rather become something like a group ownership where everyone pitches in to make sure the cats aren't getting somewhere they aren't supposed to be.

Still, there's nothing like walking into my room and instead of finding one cat like I expected, I find six of them sprawled across my bed.

It's rather easy to trick the brain into new modes of thinking. A bit of repetition, maybe a bit of amusement, and suddenly you're in the shower looking at your soaps and your brain is translating 'old spice' into 'old snice' because you spent too long musing over the concept mashing different words with the word snail

I fear I'm becoming too known. Just tossed a plastic water bottle and had someone ask if I was feeling alright because it wasn't a pepsi can

I've been here for some months now with Papa V. Something I didn't expect was the amount of jokes siblings make about the Forbidden Fruit whenever there are apples around. I suppose I get why, but I still have to keep myself from trying to correct them. Or maybe more accurately, teach them.

Im sure nobody is thinking about the history of the apples they're eating when they're making a quick joke. I doubt most of them even know what apple they're eating.

Well, at least nobody can see me rolling my eyes when the third brother this week tries to flirt with a sister by proclaiming he's sharing the Forbidden Fruit with them. That's a Cortland apple, Brother James, it was created in 1898.

Please get a better pick up line, I'm begging you
