You almost got me there, Goggles. Bravo! Unfortunately, I have an image of the ink left behind before it fully vanished.
After noticing that Neo Agent 3, the supposed victim, stopped responding to the NSS, Agent 1 traced their ink, leading her to Alterna Mission 51. She found the remains of what seemed to be a battle was still there.
According to to this image, Agent 4, the suspect, threw a burst bomb at 3. Agent 3 fought back in self-defense with they 52. Gal they were supplied with. Although my cousin thinks that Agent 4 tried escaping, it looks more like they attemped to back up so they could hit Agent 3 with their dynamo roller without the risk of getting hit as easily.
The most interesting part about this? They never got to make that one swing, at least there's no proof they did. The conclusion of this battle was simply that neither were ever to be found since. For all we know, Agent 3 was gone forever, and we assumed the same for 4 until you came into the picture.
Now that you admit to knowing them, tell me where is Agent 4 hiding now? And more importantly, why did they betray us?
