Maverick is the same parasite as most of fresh's creatures - practically emotionless creatures, ready to do anything for their own benefit, survival and just the desire to parasitize over someone.
yes, he is spoiled, in fact, one can say, extremely deprived in many ways - he is several times smaller than simple parasites, completely covered with thick fur of unknown origin, does not have even a hint of fangs/teeth.
however, nevertheless, in the role-playing games that revealed the lore of Fresh, you can find out that parasites have a kind of "blocking" of feelings. - Moon is hardly capable of reacting correctly to certain situations because of this.
