Most things in life don’t have sharp edges, so I do tend to use straight lines very sparingly, and try to give everything a little extra volume. So everything’s gotta be at least a little bit soft! ♥ And warmth is good! I do prefer to work with (and in) warm lighting. I really want to create art that makes people happy; and soft, warm feelings are definitely what I’m aiming for!
It’s also really good to hear that I do a good job adapting characters to my style. I’m always really worried about keeping—and giving—them a lot of character. Sometimes I wind up spending a lot of time working on new characters the first time! I think it’s a struggle worth having, though.))
