dorocche replied to your post: *there’s a light tapping on storo’s door, a few quiet voices can be heart faintly.. One louder one speaks up “no no no, he ain’t gonna hear you like that. you gotta KNOCK on the door” it says before there are several LOUD knocks on the door this time*
Four little squeakers, one of each color, were looking up at him.The one who had first tried knocking on the door was none other than Crissy, who spoke first “o-o-o-oh we’re n-not bothering y-you are we..?” she asked quietly, looking up at him nervously.
He looks down a bit more, to look at the Squeakers before him. Looking down that far was a bit difficult, and also hurt his neck... So he decides that it'd be easier to get closer to the ground to look at them better. He crouches down to make himself not only less intimidating, but to make it easier to speak with them.
He blinks, and smiles slightly. He was happy to see Crissy again, to be honest. She was such a little sweetheart, and he hadn't really had a chance to speak with her again. "Awww, it's awrites, Crissy.. Yew don't be needin ta worry nones... I'm faines... What do ya be needin?" he queries, curious as to know what he can help them with.
askdorocche replied to your post: *dorocche floats over to storo’s room and gently knocks on the door, open or not. He spoke softly, feeling bad for his previous behavior towards the larger mouse* Storo..?
The grey mouse floats in, a bit confused as to why they’re hugging, but then again.. from how messed up the other rodent looks it was probably for comfort, causing him to feel even MORE guilty.. “I, ah.. Wanted to speak with Storo…”
Sam blinks, and tilts her head a bit. "Oh, uhm. Should I leave then...?" she asks, looking a bit concerned. Fuck, he didn't get himself in... In THAT much trouble did he? She lets go of the larger mouse, blushing a bit upon being caught being so close to him.
Storo lets out a soft sigh, and nods. "Awrites baws.... We ah.. We can b-be talkins...." he replies, looking a bit worried himself as to what exactly his leader wishes to speak to him about.
askdorocche replied to your post: *there’s a THUD on the door, followed by dorocche’s voice coming from the other side* SHUT UP
*there was a slight growl, gradually getting softer as he moved away from the door* good..
*He sighed, and let out a low, barely audible squeak... Even his leader was in no mood for him! It was obvious to him that his boss had little to no concern that he'd been gone. Only that he was being noisy and disruptive... Well... Both were his own fault, so... Dorocche was no way in the wrong for being angry at him for it...*
Title: It Gets Worse
Rating: PG-13
Prompt: Angsty drabble with our characters
“You pathetic rat. You had her and then you lost her. Do you consider yourself akin to Aladdin, where you’re nothing but a commonplace thief, and she the royalty you fall in love with? Riddle me this, Dorocche; how do you lose someone who took so long to win over?”
“Shut up QB.”
“I will not. You ruined my fun with Storo, so I’ll ruin your misery. Tell me. Did she cry? Did she call you a liar, trash, vermin? Did she run away, or did she attack you?”
“QB, I said shut up!” Dorocche turned around, his eyes watery with tears and the most misery-induced glare on his face. He had screwed up, and he did not want QB prodding and poking him, asking him to spill more than he desired.
The blond woman smirked when she had seen his expression. His anger, his grief, his frustration with himself—it made her pleased to know that she was dragging out the reactions from him that she desired.
“Tell me—did you ever get to enjoy her while you had her?”
Dorocche scowled and shook his head, disgusted with QB’s line of thinking. “No, never; I wouldn’t use her for my own amusement. Unlike you, you conniving bitch.”
“Yes, well, I must say, Storo makes a much better companion than Drawcia in that regard. You should have seen the way he lusted after me the first time, how badly he wanted me, all the things we did and stars… It’s not often that I get a partner so willing to do things to please me, you know. Too often it’s about sating the need, and not about making the other feel good. He worshipped my body, and boy, for a virgin, he exceeded expectations~”
“DAMNIT QB! Do you only think of how to use people for your entertainment?!” Dorocche cried, lunging at her with a blade extended. He was done. She had defiled and harmed the people he cared about. Drawcia he knew could take care of herself, and though his grief over his mistake with her, which ultimately cost him the most beautiful relationship he ever had thought of or could imagine, what she had done with Storo was far… far worse. She had manipulated him, emotionally, mentally and physically; she used him and tossed him aside, broke him from his traditions and made him question his orders against her. She constantly was trying to harass him about it, and usually it didn’t bother him, but tonight… He was done with trying to be the better person.
QB laughed, and dodged the attack. “Why, what other use do these people serve in our life? Drawcia is a lovely source of entertainment. Making her blush can be very fun, and watching her get flustered over a little descriptive imagery? Not that I suppose you’d ever know that, huh? You were just so chivalrous, and yet, that’s what led you here, hasn’t it? You made the mistake of trying to spare her feelings on such an oh-so-important issue, and that’s what it took to break her, to lose her?” QB snapped her fingers, and a chain whip appeared in her hands. She lashed it out at Dorocche, but he dodged it by teleporting out of the way. QB quickly redirected her whip’s direction, laughing at the mouse.
“You’re nothing more than a worm beneath the ground that she hovers over, a grain of sand in the sea that is the desert. You are replaceable, and no amount words and sweet nothings that have been exchanged will ever change that fact, rodent. Face it! You are scum!” Though he continued to dodge her many attacks, even countering with a few ice spells of his own, QB persisted. He couldn’t dodge forever, she knew, and he’d have to catch his breath sometime.
“You know nothing of our relationship, QB! You never have and never will!”
“Of course you’d make to include the future tense, for a future exists not between you two now!”
“You are a loudmouth whore!”
“At least I get some~”
With a frustrated scream, Dorocche began charging up an ice attack rather quickly. However, in his rage, he was unable to keep the ice energy stable. Mist appeared in the air from the cold cold ice. QB stopped her lashings, quickly sending the magical charge through her chain whip to turn it into a shield. This was unnecessary, however, as the energy flow above Dorocche’s head went completely unstable and exploded. QB heard the resulting explosion, and only checked once the air currents stopped flowing. A burst of ice, much like a star, was above the frozen statue that was Dorocche. His expression was stuck in eternal rage, frustration, and frozen beads of tear that streamed from his eyes. It looked rather impressive for an ice sculpture, although QB knew better. Nothing about the ice statue was unimpressive. And it was this very reason that QB knew what she needed to do with it—for as tempting as leaving it in space was, she knew better.
With a snap of her fingers, QB teleported her and the ice statue into Drawcia’s realm. The Art Sorceress was floating around quickly, looking from side to side. It was the sound of someone whistling that alerted her to the newcomers, and she quickly flew over to where QB had appeared.
“QB! …. ….” She paused and briefly considered the situation before her. “….WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM QB?!” Drawcia drew her paint brush, ready to harm and kill the bitch before her.
The blond didn’t cower from the witch’s rage. “Absolutely nothing, Drawcia. As many times as we’ve fought, you should know by now that I wouldn’t be so stupid as to attempt to freeze someone who uses ice magic.” QB motioned to the statue beside her. “He lost control of his magic. Apparently he thought that you two had had a fight, and that your relationship was over. I saw him fighting a Meta Knight, apparently in an attempt to stop him from bothering you—“
“QB DON’T YOU DARE LIE TO ME.”
“Drawcia, what benefit would I have to lie to you? I am telling you the truth. I could swear on his nonexistent life,” she snarked. “But I digress. I saw him charge up for an ice attack, but his emotions got the better of him. We both know that it’s dangerous to perform powerful magic when one’s emotionally unstable, but he was so prepared to give up his life to stop Meta Knight that he disregarded what all magic users know best. What you see before you is the result.”
“And Meta Knight?”
“Escaped. Left him there. I did too, seeing as I figured that you would have known where your fiancé was. I guess you two weren’t that great, if you didn’t know where he was.”
“NOVA damnit QB! You had better not be lying to me!”
“Why would I lie to the kid’s godmother?”
The art witch was silent for a moment. She had no way to prove that QB was lying, though past experiences had taught her to never trust the bitch as far as an ant could carry her.
“QB, you would lie for your own reasons. I don’t know why you would, but you had better start praying to NOVA, or whatever you believe in, that I don’t find out that you’re lying.” Then, after a moment’s pause, “Do you know which Meta Knight?”
“No. I only recognized the mask and assumed either it was a form different than the one that I had met, or a parallel. Regardless, he didn’t see fit to smash him into pieces, something you can be assured that I would have done to keep anyone from attempting to revive him. I don’t allow for mistakes. How would you assume me to have done the deed when there would be nothing left to trace him back to me?”
Though Drawcia still wasn’t completely won over, she had to admit that QB had a point. She may have enjoyed giving people pain, but she would be efficient and make sure that someone was dead.
“Then… I’ll get to working on a cure.”
“Are you sure that would work? He’s been this way for several days. Oftentimes, self-inflicted attacks or bad magical ends such as these are permanent, unfixable regardless of skill.”
“Good NOVA, QB, I said that I will get to working on a cure. Now leave!”
The blond ran a mental checklist, but seeing as Drawcia had already summoned some Para Sorceresses to carry the ice sculpture back to her castle, she decided that she had done enough. After all, it was she who had created the illusioned Drawcia that had begun yelling at Dorocche, had screamed him out of the castle and threatened him with death if he had ever spoken to her again, ever tried to set foot in Drawcia’s world once more. It was she who had planned every step of this, and it was she who had made sure that the ice would be impermeable before delivering it to Drawcia. She couldn’t have her little play unfolding at all, now could she? And soon, Drawcia would be running to each and every Meta Knight she likely knew, either threatening to kill or asking questions. The only thing the blond had left to do was determine which one would become the Art Witch’s victim. Perhaps that one who so easily was not suspicious of her name? Yes. He seemed the easiest to perform puppetry magic on.
With a snap of her fingers, QB left the brokenhearted witch and ice sculpture, ready to put into motion the last step of her plan.
(QB giggles at seeing the Smeargle and Pikachu together. ....Wait are they even in the same egg group? Doesn't matter, because she finds it TOO CUTE and will just hide in magolor's metal's a random bush and watch them. INTENSELY.)
ribbon-ripple, askgijinkametaknight, and askdorocche entered the True Arena
Well, well, well. Here's a few more I hadn't expected to see around here. Though I'm glad you've been ported, Ribbon, it'd be a shame to just languish around with the nostalgics who have old consoles. Not that those are bad. And hello, Dorocche. *a friendly nod, which looks a bit odd on a puffball* How've you been doing?
...and Meta Knight. What a pleasure to have the knightly cheater around again. Why do you look human? New game I don't know about? Never thought the developers would drop the tried-and-true circle design.
