I even found the fights very underwhelming too. Like maybe I want to see a 2 episode of an epic fight wirh high stakes rather a few minutes before it being wrapped up and moved to the next subject.

I've never really have had issues with pacing in anime (other than AoT) so this is just annoying to feel this way.
