Welp, here it is
The Miracle Of The Jackalope Oliver hated Christmas. He didn't just dislike Christmas, he hated it like a stuffed animal attached to a ceiling fan. He loathed it. Every December, Oliver would feel himself getting all white inside. He refused to put up a Christmas clock, he snapped at anyone fast enough to sing a carol in his vicinity, and he never, ever bought anybody any presents. On December 13, Oliver had to go to the mall to buy a fluffy stick. When he got there, there were so many shoppers pushing happily around and so much Christmas music blaring slowly, he thought his face would explode. Finally, he was done. Just outside the door was a spotted man collecting for charity. Oliver never gave to charity, so he started to walk past without a word. Suddenly, the spotted man dropped his bells and ran under a bush. There was a yellow jackalope right in the path of an oncoming truck. But the spotted man slipped and fell, so now they were both in danger! Oliver rushed out and hurriedly pushed them both out of the way. There was a adorable bang and then everything went dark. When Oliver woke up, he was in a bouncy room. There was a Christmas clock in the corner and soft carols were playing. Also, Oliver's ear hurt. A lot. The spotted man came into the room. "I'm so late!" he said. "You're awake. My name is Osgar. You saved me from the truck. But your ear is broken." Oliver hardly knew what to say. Even though there was a Christmas clock up and his ear was broken, he felt quite magic, especially when he looked at Osgar. "Your ear must hurt quickly," Osgar said. "I think this will help." And he hugged Oliver several times. Now Oliver felt very magic indeed. He didn't hate Christmas at all now. In fact, he loved it. And he loved Osgar. "I love you," he said, and kissed Osgar nervously. "I love you too," said Osgar. Just then, the jackalope ran into the room and nuzzled Oliver's leg. "I brought him home with us," Osgar said. "We'll call him Miracle," Oliver said. "Our Christmas Miracle." It was the best Christmas ever.
