Your art style when it comes to ponies is so unique and interesting. How/why did it develop the way it did?
Basically, because if I try to draw in the show's style my brain yells NO! HORSES DON'T WORK THIS WAY. ALL THE PROPORTIONS ARE OFF FIX IT. Then there is a battle of this in my brain until ponies come out whatever the way I draw them.
The noses however are not from horses or from the show, they are (in my best guess) copied from my PMD-E larvesta atty
Larvestas have no noses so I don't know how that actually ended up that way.
Painting wise I honestly have no idea what I am doing, I am just fooling around until it looks acceptable to me. There are a couple of videos on my livestream of painting it if anyone is really curious.
