The apprentices would love to explore the territory beyond Gloomclan's little cave system! Unfortunately, their legal guardian is a professional fun hater and general advocate for keeping children inside for 80% of the time they've been alive.

I love all my gloomclanners, including members which don't technically exist yet, but I do have a special love for Brokenmask
^ this creacher was the last cat standing in a playthrough where the clan reputation with outsiders + all other clans was so low that no new cats had joined, and no new cats had been born for multiple in-game years. Brokenmask murdering Gorsestar and ending up truly alone is the moment I decided to start making notes about the savefile, because I had to see if there was any saving Gloomclan or if it really was going to die with Brokenmask

it got mentioned that Brokenmask is (was???) Gorsestar’s kin. How were they related? Or will that come up later in the story? (Curious as well about the details as to why exactly they felt the need to kill him, but I’m guessing that will also be elaborated on later, lol)

anon trust and believe I am chomping at the bit to reveal more about Brokenmask's motives, but I need to pace myself. hopefully the slowburn isn't too annoying as an audience member.
as for how Brokenmask and Gorsestar are related, they're cousins! I've made a family tree for clarity's sake (and to provide a glimpse of Brokenmask's many deceased aunts and uncles)
