Hey, just felt like sharing: I’m not Jewish but my grandfather was. He had to flee Czechoslovakia to England when he was 13 because nazis. Probably over half his family were killed. I don’t often get the chance to connect with that part of my heritage as I learned pretty much nothing about it from him; I was too young to really understand a lot of it when he died. Not sure where I’m going with this but I feel like I regain some of that connection when you talk about it so thank you

thank you so much for sharing this with me, i appreciate it highly. as a result of an extremely lucky coincidence, no members of my family were murdered in the holocaust, but they were still greatly affected. i talk about it often, even though it's difficult for me and other people, because of two reasons:
it should never be forgotten, ever.
it should never be repeated.
so, again, thank you for sharing. you are a part of the solution, as we call it - no such thing as the holocaust will ever happen again. sending you so much love❤️❤️❤️
