took me forever cus i was stumped on this for days. i dont rly get crushes on characters, they're just items to put into blenders to me. that said these 4 are arguably the guys i do everything for despite their questionable life choices so here we go:

first up we start strong with genji shimada but specifically his blackwatch skin. way back when the world was kinder, i was a hanzo girlie. but when blackwatch event dropped and little shit brother came up looking like sasuke, complete with the glowing red eyes? what am i, stupid? im not immune to edgy guy look cool propaganda. sold.

next. sabal far cry 4. religious zealot. dadfucker 3000. heavily implied to not mind child marriages cus it's tradition. all the red flags. but he smiled at me one (1) time and i kinda let it slide. that's on me 😔✋

anders DA2! my beautiful princess with a disorder. holds the title for the world's best emotional blackmailer. bombed a church and a bunch of innocent people to kickstart a war just cus he's sick of the status quo. babygirl you are insane and i unfortunately will stand by you.

and last we got lucanis. im not here to argue about the interviews saying he's the character who went through the most changes before the game got shipped. or how i was robbed of a better romance that was planned and we could've see in the behind the scenes. or how veilguard is as a game. that's for another post. we're here to get down to brass tracks: he's objectively hot and he's possessed and that's all it takes for me. see anders above for further qualifications.

i only got into cyberpunk recently so yeah, idk... something something the themes of it all. these kids raised in this terrible, horrible, no good place that tries to beat the empathy out of you, and yet they still come out of it with kindness, and silliness, and love in their heart... idk i just think thats beautiful <3 and wanted to thank you for sharing your little guy with us <3 have a good one!

just want to say i am such a big fan of your little guy v!! i initially learned about him through your cyberpunk fic (which is all PHENOMENAL), and then i had the pleasure of seeing all the art of him as well. it's so cool seeing the way he reacts to the world, and i honestly just wanted to thank you for providing such a wonderful experience of a character!! i'm always excited to see you posting about him <3

I'm so curious about the draft you ended up scrapping for your Rookanis fic. I've had to scrap pieces before but it helps if I just think of it as a writing exercise to get characterization down or whatever. Makes it hurt less 😅

omg hi! yeah that's totally valid haha, i always call the cutting and editing process 'killing my darlings' and boy does those darlings sometimes fight back :') i put all of my wips and thrown ones into a 'throw pile' tab in the docs, so i could read through them and reuse them for future fics tho. never delete anything #neverdeleteanything (the whole blood magic torture scene with rookanis was actually a reworked baldur's gate 3 wip with my tav and shadowheart if you can believe it)

i knew there was no way for my rook to tell the others about the war, so the only way for lucanis to know would be through some dream/mind entering hence the whole cursed book concept. but even then as i wrote it all out, i still didn't vibe with the idea of lucanis actually knowing, so i scrapped it. also didn't help that i eventually followed the canon that 'Rook' was a newer nickname by Varric, and not when he had even back in the mourn watch, so i'd have to refer to him with his real name, which i avoided because doing it in the middle of a series where i committed to just calling him rook felt really off. here's a few snippets from it
