I'll be honest, dear anon, I don't know when I'm gonna start Vtubing.

Not just because depression has been kicking my ass and draining me of my energy for years now, but also because something happened last week that made me feel unsafe and unsure about stepping back into the spotlight.

Last Friday, while I was working my day job (technically night job, since i work graveyard shift, but stfu), I got bombarded with harassing phone calls from someone who knew both my deadname and my previous internet name. Even though I went dark 4 years ago and have done my best to lay low and stay out of big online communities, there are still people who want to hurt me.

That incident took the wind out of my sails, and has resulted in me retreating back into my shell.

I'm sorry to disappoint all my lovelies-in-waiting, but this incident has pushed my debut back indefinitely.

Maybe one day, I'll regain the courage and try again. But for now, I'm just too scared.

So...yeah. This has been in the works for some time now, but it's time to make it official.

With both Lily and Patch having been chased off of Tumblr for the forseeable future, I can finally turn over a new leaf without either of them rearing their ugly heads to ruin shit for me.

Now to be clear, I'm not quite ready to start hormones yet. Despite all my posts begging to be magically transitioned, I know I still have some mental hangups to get through, and I'll be working through those with my next therapist whenever I get back into therapy.

But that's for another day. Right now, I have denied my true self for long enough, and it's time to step back into the light as the newest version of me.
