I've just recently seen your post about the 9/11 Towers and I feel the need to tell you I find that in extremely bad taste. There will never be a point in time that this tragedy is okay to joke about, especially in this way. Even if you weren't connected or touched by this, please have respect for the many people who were. This is will never been appropriate to joke about and the fact that you allowed this submission to go through reflects poorly on you and your blog.

Dear Askjeynewesterling,

I love how a post that's been up for at least a month doesn't become offensive until right now. Thank you for taking the time to scroll all the way down the many posts to find one you find offensive.

Someone makes a joke in August about how the most hated characters in Game of Thrones live at the Twins, and subsequently gets "liked" and "reblogged" FOR A MONTH without comment and you decide to take offense in September. I'll remove it because I don't want to deal with whiny bitches who have nothing better to do than actively look for things that bother them.

I love how jokes about rape and incest and child abuse are hilarious on my blog and yet a pun - WRITTEN IN AUGUST - is offensive. If someone had submitted this on Sept 10th, yeah, I do see how it would be tasteless to post it on Sept 11th but it's an OLD POST.

But oh, it's not until September 11th, 2011 that people suddenly decide a post that's been on their dashes FOR A MONTH is offensive and in bad taste. Awesome. Glad to know your ground-stompin' Uh-Mer-Ih-Cun patriotism only needs to come out one day a year. I'll just be over here in Canada, with our nationwide health care and legalized gay marriage.

But don't worry, I'll be more careful. I'm off to edit more tasteful submissions about Pretty Merris getting gang raped and Cersei's *~so romantic~* relationship with her own brother and Robert Baratheon sticking his dick in anything that moves. If you're looking for taste and sensitivity on a blog about GEORGE "KILL AND RAPE EVERYONE YOU LOVE" MARTIN's fiction, then you're probably looking in the wrong place.

I realize some of the hate is because Walder Frey decided to reblog it on September 11, 2011, but since GRRM's Walder Frey is the trolliest troll who ever trolled, it's completely in character for him to post something like this and I find it incredibly amusing.

Sorry for your troubles.
