{If Toris’s heart were still beating, it’d be pounding in his chest at this moment.}
{It was his first time hunting human blood, after spending the first several decades of his vampirism feasting exclusively on animal blood, and he’d spotted a young woman walking towards the park alone. He followed her in shadows, avoiding the slits of sunlight that peeked out at dusk.}
{He finally revealed himself to her as she turned a corner at a particularly large tree, staring at her menacingly, his blood-red eyes glowing.}

((Human!AU))
A rough shove pushed Leon a few centimeters to the right,but he didn’t turn to glare at the offender, and instead, just went on his way. It was normal to be jostled around in this busy city, where everyone seemed to be five minutes late for their all-important job or meeting.
His brown eyes glanced out of instinct to scan the wrists of the people milling about around him; some were on a standstill countdown, some already had 00:00:00 on their wrists, some, the lucky ones, were already counting down.
Shaking his head, Leon sighed. His had been on a standstill countdown of 00:01:00 ever since he came out of London and back to Hong Kong. Who knows; the worst was that his soulmate was back in Britain; absolutely unreachable for now.
Leon raised his hand to look at his wrist, his eyes staring at the red numbers. He didn’t believe. They were counting down.
It was now on 00:00:30.
Suddenly, he stopped, frantically glancing around, a few people around him looking at Leon and his wrist, knowing eyes glued onto him. His feet began moving before he even knew what he was planning on doing, but looking at his wrist while running, Leon knew he must’ve been on the right track, because it was still counting down.
He pushed past commuters who were speed-walking past him, and a cyclist that near hit him.
00:00:10
A blonde girl raced past him, in a similar hurry as him; also looking at her wrist. Their poses were so similar that for a moment, Leon thought she had just been his reflection. But then he noticed his reflection was running the wrong way.
Turning around abruptly and coming to a stop, Leon saw the wave of blonde-white hair disappear into the crowd, already far from view. The countdown on his wrist had stopped.
00:00:05
Leon wasn’t about to give up yet. Racing to the direction he had seen that blonde hair disappear, Leon shouted out shamelessly.
"Haunt me" ((Have a lovely day or night you wonderful human))
My muse has died, but can’t move on. Send “haunt me” for a drabble of my muse visiting yours as a ghost.
Ah yes, the luck of Leon. To die when he had a heck-of-a-load of things to do.
Get a birthday present for Yao. Go to that important business conference that was on next week. Attend the festival on in the city square. Catch up with Mr. Shao. Get some milk from the supermarket.
But then a huge-ass truck was just like: “Nope you ain’t doing none of that” and just had to run Leon over. Great. Thanks truck.
His answer to how to finish his unfinished to-do list came in a passing blonde girl glancing at the site of the accident, then to Leon as a ghost in which no-one else seemed to see . From that, Leon felt that she could see him, and tried to get her to help him finish off a few things that he had left behind. Minus the milk-buying because no one would be needing that anymore.
What was her answer? A flat ‘no’.
Well, this girl was probably Leon’s only way to finish a few things off; and he’ll be damned if he had to float around for years to find another opportunity like this.
