Mini Journal Life Update

How is everyone doing? I'm sorry I have been MIA for awhile. As some of you know, I got married last year and it took up most of my bandwidth planning, organizing and then recovering (in a good way of course). I feel like I'm just starting to unpack Tortured Poets Department. It came out the week before I got married so I could just appreciate the music without doing a deep dive analysis for every song like I normally do. It's just so much packed into an album. There's a ton to uncover. Also, I'm writing a book. Yay! I've been trying to focus on that. It is hard for me to keep focus. I get bogged down by if it will turn into something or not versus just enjoying the writing journey and doing it because I enjoy it.

There's alot of PR behavior from the girls I don't understand. I think that is done on purpose. From what I deduce I think they are both hunkering down until the re-records are over which could be another two to three years. Probably re-assessing how/if they want to have a public reunion. I still believe the girls are happily together. None of that has changed for me. I miss the kaylor easter eggs. There used to be so many all the time. Now I think it takes some digging and dreaming to find the good references and then it's like we all automatically get the easy references right off the bat so we are an echo chamber of it. The general sentiment during and post Lover era by her fans was that the Easter Eggs were getting to be too much. Some people do too much. I think they just end up burning Taylor out and themselves by guessing when the next album is going to be or what she'll do next it's alot of advanced mind games. The fun thing about Taylor is how she surprises us. That's why I don't make predictions anymore with specifics.

I think Tiktok it kinda exacerbated the easter eggs with the gaylors and kaylors. Most of them weren't OGs and showing their faces to thousands of people everyday repeating things we had mentioned for years. Very nuanced things that wasn't always nuanced in expression. It will be interesting to see what happens now that Tiktok is gone from the US. (Sidenote: I love tiktok so much it's my favorite app. I'm really sad to see it go but hey at least I will get more time.)

I'm still positive the girls will come out into the sun one way or another. Not necessarily come out if that's not what they want -- what I specifically mean is they'll be seen in public together again in some form.

Dang, Bridgerton gonna have a sapphic storyline and the amount of hate it’s already getting is on another level. One of the actresses of the pairing already turned her Twitter private due to amount of hate and it’s such a shame because in an interview that was released she was genuinely excited for it and looking forward for the fans’ reaction and it turned out to be a clusterfuck. I truly hate the homophobes.

I have two episodes left! But Cressida is so sad.

Everyone thinks we live in a time where everyone is free but that’s not the case. Homophobia is rampant and sometimes people think they aren’t being it but they are. There are so many in the community who still are homophobic about Taylor.

This little Kaylor corner of Tumblr is the only thing that makes being a fan of Taylor's worth it tbh, all her other fans are so heinous that if it wasn’t for Kaylor Tumblr I wouldn't be a fan of Taylor's no matter how talented she is

I sometimes think that too. If I thought she was straight I would’ve given up awhile ago. Call it what you want I never liked when I thought it was about Joe what a boring song. Then when I learned it was really about Karlie and it sounds like Karlie “Karlie would you want to” the song becomes brilliant.

What made you stay a Kaylor throughout the years and not falter in your belief that they're still together?

The girls coordinating things constantly. Taylor will always “copy” Karlie’s outfits or things in her life.

Karlie publicly moves to Florida. Taylor has a song on this album about Florida. Her dad has lived there for years and there’s no songs until now.

The biggest thing was when the pandemic happened then Karlie got pregnant I didn’t think they ever broke up if they would bring a child into the world together. In some way or another. I’m not claiming to know all the details.

Karlie is all over her albums. I never thought reputation was about toe and none of the other albums. So who are they about?
