The Siren’s Song
She was the most beautiful Siren there was out there. No one could resist her song... You see, it was a common myth that Siren songs only worked on men, but that is not the case. It worked on women as well, but only if the Siren willed it... and/or if the Siren was skilled enough. Cassiopeia was quiet skilled with that. She saw a ship in the distance and her lips curled into a smirk. She would get an easy meal tonight.
Soon, she started to sing a beautiful song about Marai and the sea.
“When I was a lad in a fishing town My old man said to me: "You can spend your life, your jolly life Sailing on the sea. You can search the world for pretty girls Til your eyes grow weak and dim, But don't go fishing for a mermaid, son If you don't know how to swim" 'Cause her hair was green as seaweed Her skin was blue and pale I loved that girl with all my heart I only liked the upper part I did not like the tail~”
She continued to sing as an eerie fog started to roll in and her voice carried an otherworldly tone to it.
