do people hate on jaein for being from such a rich family? like saying her parents paid her way in or that she took the place of a more "deserving" trainee.
I think it happened way more often before her debut in SuperM, because people only realised her talent there. Specially when she was still part of SMRookies and people started figuring out more about her family.
like, people always knew she's a more than vital piece for Red Velvet but some people still had the "maybe not" thought, and when she showed her true rapping and dancing skills by rapping and dancing songs like Jopping, or Tiger Inside, people stopped doubting her capacity as an A-list idol.
But, as always, some people still use the "Sooman only choose her because she's rich" excuse to throw hate on her🙄

some people think that seulgi's dance looks a lot more natural than jaein's and that it's obviously that jaein is only able to be the dancer she is because of her training, which is partially correct, but not completely.
the thing about jaein is 'cause, more than a dancer, she's a performer. please, don't get me wrong, seulgi is a perfect top tier performer, but there's something different about jaein that's hard to find in anyone else.
it's REALLY hard to find anyone who matches her energy and presence and, maybe it's because of her long training, but she knows (even that a bit) each dance style, which gives her an advantage. that's why some people think that she's able to showcase her dance abilities with superm and solo more than with red velvet. if I had to compare her to any other dancer, it'd be taemin.
but answering your question: up until before jaein joined superm, seulgi was considered the best dancer, but then jaein got to show more of her dancing skills and now people are sure there's a reason why jaein is called queen jaein.
