It was already a week in to her first into her second year of college and had woken up late due to older brother playing with her phone, so Amelia was not a happy camper and having to run to meet her friend in the library with two large and heavy Biology books just made it worse for her.
As she came running round the last corner that would lead to the library, she end up running face first in to something hard before landing on her ass and right wrist as hers books landed with a thud next to her.
Looking up Amelia saw what she had run snd thst turned into the chest of rather tall good looking blonde guy, probably a sport student she made a metal note to herself before standing up ” I am so sorry about that” she said a slight red tint on her cheeke.
Before picking up her books, she tested her wrist to see how bad it was and flinched when she moved it to the side. Gingerly she picked the books up with right hand and placed them left, she look at the guy and aplogized again to him.
Lucifer blinked when something collided with him, something far smaller than him but happened to be barreling down the corridor at an impressive speed.
Glancing down, he raised an eyebrow at the red head sprawled out on the floor. She was already flushing a deep shade of pink, scrambling to try and get up. There was several college books on the floor around her - Biology, he noted - fallen open. He was about to offer her a hand up when she apologised, already on her feet again.
"It's fine, it's not your-" he started, but she was already picking up her books, although favouring her right hand. Come to think of it, it must have been a painful landing.
When she apologised again, making to move past him, he stood in her way. Shaking his head, he took the books out of her hand and put them on the table near them. Without a word, he took her hand in his, turning it over slowly and carefully.
"That looks like it could be a sprain," he muttered, more to himself than anything, "Best to keep any weight of it. Which means you are not carrying these," He picked up her books, holding them against his chest, "to your next class. Where is it? Come on, you're not gonna be cutting up any frogs with a fucked up wrist, huh?"
