He rested his head on his daughter’s and sighed. “That is true, but cases have been a bit cold recently. We thought we had a lead on some werewolves down south but-” Sam was interrupted by the buzz of his phone on the coffee table. Dean’s name flashed on the screen. “Two seconds sweetie.” Sam said, standing up and grabbing the phone from the table before heading into the kitchen to talk to his older brother.

As she lent against the wall, Amelia could hear noise come through-out the small house, making her tense up and grip the knife in her hand tighter, as she ready herself to fight, as she though it was her ex-partner coming back to try and finished her off.As the footsteps got closer, ready herself to attack, when the voice of her father carried threw the air, causing relief to rush through Amelia as dropped the knife to the floor and wanting to nothing but throw herself in to her father hold, “In here” she cried out.

Sam heard his daughter cry out from a nearby room. “Amelia!” He shouted as he rushed over to the door leading to the room her voice had come from. He tried the door handle not expecting it to open as door handles never worked for Winchesters, but to his surprise the door opened.

He stepped into the room and saw his daughter leaning against the wall, blood soaking into the fabric of her shirt. He quickly shoved his gun into the back of his jeans and hurried over to his daughter. “Amelia, what happened?” He asked as he crouched down beside her.

Once finished, she placed her bowl in the sink, “Well I’m off to shower and get dressed” Amelia spoke, as she made her way out of the kitchen.

Sam raised an eyebrow at Amelia and watched her shovel the cereal into her mouth skeptically. He was so certain that she was hiding something; she was acting similarly to Gabriel when he was up to mischief. 

As she left the kitchen he called after her, “Just because you’re a Nephilim doesn’t mean you can’t get infected. I am checking that shoulder when you are out of that shower young lady.” Sam then slumped into one of the kitchen’s chairs and sighed as he placed his head in his hands. Amelia really was becoming more and more like Gabriel with every passing day.
