Though Shadow often kept Silver on a tight leash, there were moments when the young telekinetic managed to sneak out while his partner was distracted. Being that they hybrid had an infant and a passed out angel to worry about, that night was one such moment. Quickly tossing on his dark teal jacket, Silver slipped out the front door and hurried out of the building.
Once outside, the ivory hedgehog looked up at the building before scurrying off into the city. He’d been safe and stayed in the upperclass parts of the city, where it was unlikely to encounter any dangerous people. But that night, Silver was feeling bold. He ventured further than usual. The streets became grimier. Walls were tagged up in colourful but hard to read words. He could feel dangerous eyes on him, unsettling him. But he knew that if he turned around too quickly, it could be more dangerous than if he were to ‘round the block in order to return the upper class district.
He kept his head low, eyes to the sidewalk so as to avoid eye contact with anyone. Though he doubted it’d help. He stood out like a light in the dark of night, his bright ivory fur practically a beacon to all he passed and whom passed him.
‘This was a mistake...’ he thought to himself.
