He’s a Big Eater but...
Max just has issues eating in front of people in general. Especially when they’re at the same table. It’s probably really nerve wracking as usual so I do my best to keep him comfortable.
It was a pretty nice time and it was a fancy diner with good décor and all. My parents were happy to take us out and they had fun. I had some yummy pineapple and fish while Max had a small steak. He mostly played around with his food and looked down but I got him to at least eat it by the time we were leaving. He looked really cute after I got him in one of his adorable light blue sweaters. It was embarrassing for him but I didn’t want to make him look super dull and boring. He’d stand out way more if he did go in a gray sweater while my parents and I were dressed a bit more fancily.
I’ll probably take him out with some of my friends, one at a time of course, to get him more comfortable around people. I was considering talking to a therapist but I’m not sure how that’ll turn out. I’ll think about that for a bit.
So yeah, we’re back at my parents and preparing to go home soon! I think I can get Max to talk some more and maybe even get him to answer some questions as well. Not sure how it’ll turn out but it’s worth a shot. So ask away and we’ll be answering later!
