Reaper with an anthro bird s/o:

He finds their physiology fascinating. Their wings shouldn’t be capable of flight, yet they are, and how do they talk? He finds it really interesting.

Mind you, if anyone shows even a hint of wanting to run experiments or tests on his s/o, Reaper will make it clear that any attempt to do so will end with the person dead or maimed. He won’t allow anyone to experiment on someone he cares for.

He has a uniform made up for them that masks their anthro qualities if they go on missions with him, so they can have some sort of anonymity when off duty.

Incorporates more bird-like features into his suit. Strongly denies it has anything to do with his s/o.

 Strokes their feathers gently back into place if they get ruffled. Carefully keeps all the shed ones a) because he likes them and b) because no way he’s letting anyone else get their hands on them.

Maybe like a sort of what-if scenario when Gabriel "Reaper" Reyes meets his s/o(Significant other, if I assume.) as an anthro bird of some sort, or Soldier 76(A.K.A. Jack Morrison.), OR Jesse McCree. Any one of them would do, or all of them, who knows. I'll let you decide.

Hey there! I’ll admit I’m not quite sure what to do with this request but I’ll try my best. (Although I wasn’t sure if you meant for the reader to be the anthro bird or the Overwatch ppl, but I went with the anthro bird being Reaper… Hopefully that was correct, or you still like it regardless)

Reaper, meeting his s/o as an anthro bird:

His s/o can’t tell when they first meet him, due to the mask and the outfit. What with the cape and the dissolving into mist thing, it’s easy for Reaper to hide the wings and such.

Honestly, stuff like Reaper “roosting” in the rafters and such is played off as just being quirks. No one would dare ask, anyway.

When he gets closer to his s/o though, he finally shows them his face and what he actually looks like. It takes months before he reaches that point.

Once they’re committed to a relationship, Reaper definitely has a habit of running his fingers through his s/o’s hair or clothes to preen them.

He’s very careful about never leaving lost feathers anywhere, but once he meets his s/o he starts gifting his lost feathers to them.

I guess that would depend on the AU. Like... If I felt the characters could still be able to be in character that would be fine? Honestly I don’t know haha Why don’t you throw the idea at me and we’ll take it from there?
