Hi ! I've just dowloaded Photoshop because I want to make edits (gifs seems to be a bit complicated lol) but I don't how to start ... Since you're one of my favs edits makers I just wanted to know if you have some tips ! Thank you :)
omg ;-; its been months since my last edit and honestly i’m not that active anymore but im honored you consider me a favorite of yours.
well, anyways! i recommend you first picturing what kind of edits you wanna do if that makes sense? when you’re new you don’t rly have a style and you will have to learn a lot of things, not everything will be perfect or will come out as you expect. so trial and error is okay.
download a lot of textures... psds... there’s a lot of blogs dedicated to it like itsphotoshop or animeps also official anime scans, never use fanart for edits since its not polite to do so.
its ok to find inspiration for edits but remember one thing is inspo, other is 100% copying an edit but with another character so always ask credit if u wanna mimic a style or add your own ideas, like i said even if you are starting out and the edit doesn’t look 100% how you want it to look, ur only learning so don’t be too hard on yourself.
don’t get discouraged if you get few notes or if rude ppl say they don’t like your edits, you can’t please everyone and we all start somewhere so be positive :D
