hi!! i saw your mixed media phm animation and it totally blew me away!!! i was wondering what software/process you used to make it?

hiii thank you so much, i'm glad you liked it!! my process is honestly probably more convoluted than it has to be fdgkjh

first i make an initial edit to match up the scenes i've chosen to the music in microsoft clipchamp (mostly bcs it's pretty straight forward when it comes to the ui).

i then import that edit in 10fps in hitfilm (pretty much the only more advanced video editing software my tiny laptop can handle without crashing more than a few times here and there) and export as png image sequence.

to be able to print the frames i just do what this guy said (in the free workflow chapter) with a software called XnView MP.

then i print all the sheets out, figure out how and what to draw where as i go (mostly using posca pens and a craft knife lol), then scan them all back in and get them into hitfilm to line each frame up.

again, i'm sure there are plenty of more straight forward ways to do it, but this is what's worked the best for me so far. i mostly figure it out as i go kjdfgh :D

Have not played it sadly but i have watched video essays my beloved by thegreatreview and it was so so good that i really love the game, also the songs are so cool (i don’t recommend listening to echo of the eye while roaming the house at night tho it’s /Scary/)

Does Soleil have any kind of trauma or fear that you plan to explore further in his arc?

He has a trauma of abandonment and being forgotten

You probably noticed it at the beginning of the arc when Colleen tells him that she hates him and he has a mental breakdown about it

Soleil feels like he's not really worth much compared to his loved ones

Yes, he's a kind of demi-god but he still feels insufficient with that, he still feels like the pathetic child that his parents hate for being useless

In fact, I'm about to finish it (his arc), those traumas have already been explored quickly (which actually got worse-)
