Genuinely so confused about the boop thing,,, I have no idea what everyone’s talking about

you should have a counter like that somewhere on the site (i dont know about the app, i dont use the app)

that's the boop counter

and to send boops there should be a text like that next to each person's name when they post stuff

by pressing that you boop them. But you can also opt out i believe. Hope that helps!

It is! Thank you thank you. While I'm not excited about the huge meals (I get easily overwhelmed and end up eating nothing) I am glad I no longer have to fast nor go to church every day! Also the eggs are nice.

I guess the greek fun fact of the day is before Easter Sunday we say "Καλή Ανάσταση" or "Καλό Πάσχα" but from Easter Sunday till like the ascension(?? The religious thing 40 days later about how Jesus ascended to the heavens 40 days after the resurrection) when you first meet someone, you greet them with "Χριστός Ανέστη" and they have to respond "Αληθώς Ανέστη (ο Κύριος)"

Basically it's the only holiday that has a different wish before and during/after the holiday

seeing the tag w malakas on it was so jarring to me cause like. here thats a word meaning strong?? so seeing it as a curse word or an insult is Very surprising /silly

i remember seeing some friends talk tagalog and seeing it gave me the biggest whiplash.

Μαλάκας (malakas) in greek literally means "wanker" but is used like "asshole"

the intonation is different from tagalog malakas as far as i'm aware- but the similarity is pretty funny

I have recently come to the realisation that I have a new type in favourite fictional characters and it is Fish Paladin (bonus points if they are stupid) (aka Gillion JRWI Riptide Tidestrider, Lyria csmp DoCaS, the one guy I refuse to name from Dreaming Divinity, Undyne Undertale etc) aside from the usual "Bunny Coded bubbly personality" character (aka Nora Star Team Manis, Amber Genshin Impact)

In true Greek fashion, as if it is a rite of passage, when I was three years old I attempted to drink plain olive oil thinking it surely tastes awesome if it makes all the foods taste soooo goooood. Needless to say do Not attempt to drink plain olive oil.

I remember most of my childhood but barely anything that has happened to me the last 7 years

Who’s the character with the sea-serpenty ears? :o they are one of my favourite character design features and I have an OC with ears like that too :D

Um long story slightly less longer, in this long post (which is old and I would rephrase things a bit better) I explain about the silly au story based on a roleplay a couple of friends and I do, and Lyria is one of the characters my dear friend Cran (linked i have their insta account because i dont know if they have anywhere else they post art, though the account is pretty dead) plays. Lyria is um a retired god who has been through a lot, and has been forced time and time again to pick up the sword to protect what's important to her. I could go into large detail about her character and how much I love her (she is great) but in the context of that post specifically, Lyria -from the point of view of Glow, a very unreliable narrator- is a weird and scary individual who can easily pose a threat to her and the rest of her group. She is also frustrated because she wants to like her as she has shown kindness but she has been hurt by her as well, and Glow is a confused kid in general so she is just very very conflicted.

Anyways have some Lyria doodles I have made over the 2 years I have been brainrotting (the designs without the fish ears are very old before i knew the details of the character ksjdfgs then the changes in the design depends on when in the story they are from)

Why are you against participating in art fight? I know there was a move to not do it because of issues with staff payment or something like that, but are there others reasons you have?

Learnt about it in 2015, and wanted to join, but then I realised I wouldn't be able to do anything because I draw really slow and crash easily. Plus I have always had this little curse where I am mostly unnoticed so I could see that even if I "attacked" a lot of people, I'd barely get any myself. Aaand I hate drawing refs, especially since I have a ridiculous amount of ocs....

So I decided to become a hater.
