Kai: But if I recall from last time, I told you to be careful around these areas? It’s great to see you and all, but the danger still lurks in these parts and who knows where else. 

Kai: But thank you for the compliment on my scarf, it’s not new, infact I have had it for a while. I’m wearing it now because the pokemon who gave it to me I haven’t seen in a very long time. Me wearing it shows that I still care for them and that I miss them. Their friendship meant a lot to me and I hope someday I will be able to see them again. It’s also what keeps my mind off the dark world around me and my allies.

Heart-Shaped Nose (tamedwild drabble)

askumbreonandfriends​ submitted: tap tap tap tap Filled the darkness in the hidden closet under the stairs where perry slept, Jem had gotten used to the sound of people walking up and down the stairs, but this was new as she woke up to see the unmistakable patterns of her beloved mate pacing around. She thought it had gotten colder, as she lifted her head up. and tiredly asked aloud “Perry?” “I just… Was thinking.” he spoke, as Jem right on cue replied “About Jade? You’d be crazy not too…” Jem rubbed her ears, not having much to psychically pull at, but she did pat where he would normally be laying. with a look that said “lets-talk.” His ears jotted up, and his rings filled the room with soft blue light he didn't expect her to be up and awake and let out a reply “Oh… uh hey, honey.” he replied meekly, he didn't mean to wake her up. Perry sighed, she knew him to well, responding to the command as he dainty got into the bed, resting his head down under Jems, who put a paw over his. “… She’s my mother, and I couldn't do anything.” Perry begun looking down “… What if it happens to Rue, Primrose, Zach or, you… what would I do?” Perry had asked, to a sad state, and taking a breath “… I’m a shield, bae, and im starting to realize my family needs a spear…” Jem flicked her tail, a bit distressed, she never liked to see perry like this “… I don’t know Perry, and I’m worried about Jade and the kids just as much as you” she spoke softly “… but I didn’t fall in love with a meatshield Perry, I fell in love with a sweet guy with a cute heart-shaped nose who loves my kids and makes me laugh.” she said, stretching her neck out “… We’ll find a way Perr. We both have a lot of reasons to live. and We’ll both fight, we’ll both be careful, and if either of us get into trouble we have friends willing to fight by our sides and…” she said adjusting his head down to her lower stomach and let him listen for a moment as his eyes widened, and looked up at her, looked down on him “… and I bet they’ll have your heart-shaped nose.”

With the sun setting in the west, and the late mist settling into dew on the grass gave a wonderful smell to the forest. The Espeon walked through one of the open hollows of the forest and sat down in the sun looking towards the sun as her tail wrapped around her front paws. She smiled to herself letting out a low breath as if sighing in relief. She needed this break. Before she had left Damien’s house she had put away her bandana, giving herself even more freedom, it had been rather humid all day so she hadn’t been sure she would want to wear it. It would have made her hot and sweaty, but it had been a long time since she had taken it off, it felt nice and cool to have the light breeze ruffle through her fur.

It was a rather foggy morning in the forest, the sun, none-the-less shown brightly through the newly budding trees making the atmosphere rather delightful, and the fog, stunning colors. A young nintales padded through the mist exploring the depths and shadows of the forest he called home. He knew it was not safe, especially at a time like this, but he didn’t care. A nice walk through the forest could lift spirits higher then ever. Especially on a day like this, no matter the danger. He smiled to himself as he paused at the river, from there he kneeled before it and lapped at the cool, refreshing waters. His ears were perked to any sounds that could from from danger or a stranger.

"Quit being a thick-skulled idiot!" The older brother looked at the newcomers and nods his head to apologize. "Sorry, our 'leader' and my younger brother is known for being a thick-skulled moron."

askumbreonandfriends submitted: Perry had a long day at work. nothing particularly hard but it was a dull day in crime. he was thankful that he wasn't on the beat but more of a special investigator of sorts, and even more thankful Commissioner Grove let him off early today. his mom told him she’d pick up the kids today probably would take them to her place for  a while to give the couple a breather. he wondered if Jem was home as he pulled into the driveway, and walked up to the house. looking it over, still amazed with this house. as took out his keys and opened the door. ready to facetiously shout “honey! I’m home!” but then he heard something.

Singing. Jem’s singing, he quite liked her singing, so he tried to close and lock the door silently. Jem usually sang in the shower, or when she did housework. So he tried to be quiet as not to surprise her, but he did follow the singing up to the bathroom, following the music, as he moved to knock on the door, and spoke softly “hey dear, I’m home.” he said, simply.  hoping he didn't interrupt her too much. “Oh and Ma’s picking up the kids today.”

Jem smiled when she heard her husband knock on the door and spoke quietly. "Perry!" She chirped happily, "I'll be out in a moment." She turned the shower head off and flicked the drain tab as the water that had been in the shower head hose drained out into the tub. She climbed out dried herself off and then put on her clothes. She then stepped out and smiled towards Perry.  "How was your day dear?" She said giving him a small kiss on the cheek.
