What's the general concept behind your new blog? Forgive me for not being familiar with the AU it's originally based on, so I wanna ask what's the premise of that story and how the blog pulls from it! So far all I've got is that it has to do with Secret Life.
No worries at all! I have said that not many people have much information about Broken Gods, so forgive me for essentially throwing you in the deep end....
(I think Flora might actually know the most abt it, but none of what I shared with her will be quite relevant to this story)
I have taken a little inspiration from the fragments in Martyn's EAEAU with The Broken Gods. If a soul or a god's body is too badly damaged, one's existence will fracture and may be scattered. The fragments may contain one's memories, their powers and their strength.
Sometimes the fragments are scattered permanently, not having enough strength to reform. Other times they can become independent and form their own, like Scarlet Pearl had.
Scar is staying in Secret Life, even after his victory. After a while, he slowly forgets things. His only way of telling time is passing is the growing and dying of the sunflowers.
Why was he staying? Even he himself has begun to forget why he is keeping himself alive. He's scared of what is outside this barrier, what will happen if he leaves....
(I don't want to spoil too much, but hopefully that answers your question a bit, sorry)
