A day in my shoes
Well if this isn't an exercise in surrealism, Jervis isn't sure what qualifies anymore. He and his tanner self had swapped outer attire and coats, painted the freckled Tetch's face that he and his double more closely matched, and parted ways from one another with the assistance of miss Isley's girl - so good to have Iris on call. They would swap lives to try and adequately discern what Tetch's tea-party-self's Jonathan and Edward keep fighting about. Because really, the poor himself looked so forlorn! No, that wouldn't do, not halfways, and so the switch was made. Pancake makeup itches a bit, however… "Jonathan?" Jervis asks, as he slips back into the warehouse his other calls home. "Edward? I'm back - gracious me! There's not been too much trouble without me, I shouldn't hope?"
A gathering of Hatters
Jervis idles in his teashop, again, leaning on the counter and eagerly awaiting the noontime rush. Morning has dwindled to all but a halt, and the blonde really does get rather bored when no one's coming and going. He could make himself a cup of tea, but...
Well, really... he does try to avoid that. Drinking his profits away is a habit he'd really rather not get into.
Ah, but today was a special one! He got sleep - for the first time in an age, it felt like, though the circumstances of the nap remain hazy. (Many things do, however - this isn't particularly troublesome.) - And, as luck would have it, a little birdy told him that his dear other self had, in fact, received the invitation to come and visit the shop!
Whether or not it would be honoured... oh, but he did hope so. He and himself had rather a lot to chat about.
