✦: My muse was attacked but yours saved them- how'll my muse ever thank them? ( Xjleeta 3/3 )
"Really, Xjleeta, it's okay. You know I would have done it no matter the circumsstance. You would have done the same for me." He was sitting on a stump and looking deeply into the curvy, red Argonian's eyes.
"Nonsense, Tor! You just saved me from an assassination!" She was very animated, waving her arms in the air--probably from the adrenaline of almost being killed.
Tor sighed and plopped his chin in hand. "Yess, Xjleeta, but the only reason that I could save you is because I mysself am trained in the ways of an assassin."
Xjleeta scoffed and moved closer to the midnight blue man. She poked his snout and said, "Exactly. Because of you--and your miraculous training--I owe you my life, my noble assassin. Name your price, and I will give it to you."
Tor-Acr rolled his eyes and stood, grabbing the other by the waist and pulling her close. They were almost snout-and-snout. "I don't need to be repaid, little Xjlee. The fact that you are sstill alive is enough for me. The fact that I can sstill see you, talk to you, touch you..." Tor gave he waist a little squeeze. "Your company is more than enough of a reward for my deed. But," Xjleeta smiled, wondering what Tor would say next, "if you must have the satissfaction, my price is that you won't leave my side. Even when we're apart, I want you to be next to me. We are Hist-kin, whether you were born in the Marsh or not. I want to be a part of your life--and when I ssay thiss, I don't mean a temporary stay."
He eyed the short woman, and dreaded her response. He thought that she liked him. He thought they'd shared enough nights under the stars and enough battles together that they could be this close. He felt like a fool, and all he could do is wait for her reply...
{ Didn't feel comfortable putting words in your mouth, Xjleeta-mun, so if you feel like it, you can give her response :) }
